Pros: Hotswap for SSDs is terrific. So is this ability to treat its SSD tray as a Bootable Drive for an OS testing workstation.

For users that want to create off-site backup drives, this is an excellent compoent.

For users that want to swap out bootable drives for different OS testeing, this is excellent.

My most infamous users have these so I can do system-baclkups SO WHEN they invariably trash drives, I can re-install a backup drive for total restores.

I also like the USB 3 ports.

Cons: Build-quality has varied - which isn't news to anyone. Buy 10, and 1 or 2 will have flimsier connectors than others. We've lost 4 out of the 50 we've installed due to bad assembly processes, but that's not a terrible quantity. Wish they were half the price, though.

APEVIA X-QPACK2-NW-AL/500 Black/ Silver Aluminum Body/ Front Mask MicroATX Desktop Computer Case 500W Power Supply

Pros: The removable motherboard tray solves many assembly and post-assembly/upgrade issues. Apevia could use Version 3 with a bit more attention to SSD possibilities without removing any currently-available drive-spaces - there's plenty of room for another set of screw-holes!

This case is great for the use-of-space, though. I'd definitely recommend it for cube-style uses.

Cons: Flimsy cover-material will show dings. In a way, if they'd used plain aluminum foil, that'd be easier to replace. For a case that comes with a handle - obviously with mobility in mind - the all-metal sides will eventually show nicks and dings. I have no idea what the Window Sides would be like - will they eventually pop out? Crack?

Other Thoughts: I will continue to use this for users that want/need cubes with limited HDD (3 or less) needs. I suspect that letting it sit in a media-stand or tucked on a bookcase next to the work-desk will give the thin side metals a better lifespan than using that handle.

4 out of 5 eggs Large Case, Begs For Lotsa HDDs 07/01/2014

This review is from: Antec Three Hundred Two Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with Upgraded 2 x USB 3.0

Pros: I maintain dozens of these among users, all max-filled with HDDs and this case gives those the most spacious spacing between drives, allowing the best air-flow from the front-mounted fans.

Substantial construction.

Cons: Substantial construction also means "heavy" and "large", which can be a negative for lugging around.

The case's drive-bays don't allow drives to be flipped for inserting - you can only install HDDs 'cables-in / nose out' which means to work on HDDs, you must pull the case out and remove both panels. The case is spacious enough for this, but the designer didn't see fit to use this wonderful consideration. I take points off for that lack of imagination OR lack of usefuless experience. Move 10 of these cases in a day JUST to access both panels, and it becomes an obvious drawback, compared to a certain Fractal case.

Other Thoughts: This is a Top 3 Case for users that need a lot of hard-drives - Fractal Arc Midi R2 allows drives to be inserted 'in' or out making a much easier drive-SATA-Cable maint routine. The CoolerMaster N400 has the old-style drive-cage but it has such substantial spacing that drive-maint is an ease. But this Antec 302 has the best between-drive air-spacing.
