Pros: Very fast drive! I have Fujitsu Ultra320 SCSI 15k rpm @ Adaptec 29320LPE and Cheetah 15k.5 @ LSI RAID PCI Express x4 controller and now I switched to the X25-M right after Intel droped prices on Monday, April 27th. SCSI are pretty fast, but this drive is a big difference. I copied the whole drive with Acronis True Image Echo Workstation so I didn't reload the whole system. For SCSI drives I used a front 120mm fan for HDD basket as an active cooling because SCSI/SAS drives especially 15k rpm are very hot. This guy runs cool and quiet - it is very good advantage. I was able to slow down front fan in BIOS so now my system is running very quiet at night. For media files, downloads and archives I have two 1TB WD drives. I configured a swap file on one of them - WD Black Edition, and also disabled defragmenter for X25-M.

Cons: None so far. I would check the performance after several months usage.

Pros: I just checked their website and it says this card is 10GbE, so this is somebody at Newegg made a mistake. Thanks to you, this product has less starts than it should have. Think before you write.

Pros: Finally we got the ability to use Ultra320 protocol on workstation systems! but.. It's just doesn't work!

Cons: I was overwhelming waiting for my ordered Adaptec 29320LPE. I was installing it on my PC (Epox NForce4 Ultra mobo, socket-939) by shaking hands, connected my 15k rpm SCSI U320 hard drive and.. freezing right before Windows startup screen (yet text mode). I decided to try to install Windows XP Pro 32-bit from CD - freezing while "Checking hardware blah-blah-blah..." I disconnected every device leaving only most important (video, memory, CPU). The same result. Then I decided to ask technical support - THEY CAN DO NOTHING WITH THIS! On their website they listed only server motherboards as compatible mobos for this card. Remember that card has PCIe x1 which has every modern motherboard but unfortunately, it seems not working. The only one version of BIOS on website. Interesting thing.. When nothing is connected to 29320LPE - Windows loading without problems! When I connect hard drive or tape drive - it freezing before startup screen even if I booting from another SATA hard drive...

Overall Review: I visited some forums and realized that many people has the same problem. One guy listed this controller in his configuration but never answered me when I asked if it works

Pros: Good brightness ratio, good contrast ratio, good design, excellent controls, fine presets (day text, day photo, day movie, night text, night photo, night movie and normal, when user can control screen properties by himself), great quality/cost ratio!

Cons: No negative comments about this product
