Lasting Satisfaction

SilverStone Temjin Series TJ-03 SLVR Silver Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case
SilverStone Temjin Series TJ-03 SLVR Silver Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: There are 2 things that deliver consistent daily satisfaction in my life. The laminate flooring I installed in our family room that replaced some really ugly vinyl, and this case, which is a thing of beauty whose appearance and durability equal the flooring. It’s the satisfaction that comes from knowing hard earned money has been converted to lasting quality and practicality.

Cons: Zero

Overall Review: I’ve never regretted any transaction with newegg. Any company that desires success should look to newegg as a model.

ATI All-In-Wonder X800 XT 100-714200 Radeon X800XT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Video Card

Comments: I’ve had the same exact TV experience as Mike who posted on 7-7-05, with the same dismal Ati support results. However, I have stumbled on to a work around for the problem. Go into your bios settings and disable the “Hyper Threading” feature if you’re using an Intel based MB. I have the Asus P4800E, with a 3.2 Northwood, 1gig ram, and turning off the hyper threading ended all the problems that Mike accurately described, with no real world noticeable effect to performance as far as I can tell. As others have said the card is a sold performer in all other areas, except the FM farce. The price and newegg’s unmatched service make it deal I don’t regret.

Tagan TG-480 480W ATX Power Supply

Comments: Just recieved this today. Running Prime 95 torture test + Quake Demo looped + ripping a DVD to disk with DVDX Copy results in (using Asus Probe) the following voltages: 12.22, 5.026, 3.36, and a v core of 1.47. (P4 3.2C) None of the voltages varied more than .2 of a volt during the 50 minute test. And it really is very quite. I'm very pleased with the purchase. Thanks Newegg

Comments: I must say that my misery is somewhat diluted by the shared experience of others. I purchased this board, and it was delivered with the speed and economy that is unique to New Egg. I immediately folded it into the new system I was building, and everything went swimmingly, booted fine, formatted the drive, installed XP pro, and decided to go ahead and register Xp. Shut it down, plugged in the ether net cable, booted back up, and nothing. Short story: everything pointed to a bad processor or MB. But it was the Antec 430 "True Power" ? Power supply. Now that I have a Nspire 450 watt ($15.00 less) life is good. That's my story.
