Pretty good so far
Pros: Easy setup, sharp design, multi colored led symbols to tell you what's going on, (if you read the instructions, lol)
Cons: The lights are a bit bright, it's not a problem if you have it hidden away but for anyone whose desk and bed share occupy the same room, they may be annoyed by the lights.
Overall Review: I purchased this to work with Time Warner Cable, called and gave them the MAC address and bam, we were online.
Horrible! Stay away!
Pros: Suppose to be a 3D device, good price, offers wifi and a wired connection. Trusted name...maybe.
Cons: Wifi died on me just after Toshiba's 90 day warranty, they are refusing to replace. Will freeze quite often. Doesn't shut off when you tell it to. Make sure the outlet is close because you will have to unplug it to shut it off quite often.
Overall Review: I spent $107 on this unit thinking it would be a great buy, especially since it is advertised as a 3D BD player. I don't own a 3D TV yet but figured the investment in this player would be worth it when I do upgrade eventually. As stated above the wifi died after a firmware upgrade. I called Toshiba and since my device was just out of the 90 day warranty, they wouldn't touch it. 3 months in and I have a blue ray player that won't connect to wifi. If you only play Blue Ray movies on this device, then you should be okay. But, a company that pushes an update that bricks your wifi and then REFUSES to make it right because 90 days has elapsed, hmm....I think I'll be buying a different brand. Beware of this player, don't go cheap and buy this and definitely don't take comfort in a "trusted brand" such as Toshiba. So after 3 calls to Toshiba and getting hung up on and yelled at by "customer service" I'm calling it a night....and never buying another Toshiba brand again, I'd advise all of you to do the same.
