Seems to be incompatible with LSI SAS Cards

ASRock C226 WS ATX Server Motherboard LGA 1150 Intel C226 DDR3 1600/1333
ASRock C226 WS ATX Server Motherboard LGA 1150 Intel C226 DDR3 1600/1333

Pros: SATA3 ports work fine. Dual gigabit network ports. ECC QVL has low number of memory chips, but my Strotium 4GB ECC unbuffered 1333 memory sticks work. Works with the Core i3 - 4xxx chipset with ECC. Using Bios 2.30.

Cons: Seems to have compatibility issues with LSI 9240 and IBM 1115 cards. Both cards detect during boot, but within Windows 2012R2, both cards have "code 10" errors. Tried running it Gen 1, different PCI-Ex slots, etc. No luch. Then again, it may be the LSI chipset that is problematic. ymmv. it makes it difficult to drive 24 SAS/SATA ports when there are no cheap/easy sas raid cards that work Does seem to have remote

Overall Review: I was hoping to use this motherboard to drive a number of SAS/SATA raid cards in a norco rpc-4224. Not sure what I can do with it.
