G.SKILL Value 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR 400 (PC 3200) Desktop Memory Model F1-3200PHU2-2GBNT

Pros: i built a older rig into a media rig. this ram kit really helped out. it is good cheap ram. i dont really know what else to say bought it as budget ram dont need to OC it or anything like that.

Cons: none

Overall Review: its cheap and dose what it needs to what else is there.

nice fan

APEVIA CF4S-UBL 80mm Case Cooling Fan
APEVIA CF4S-UBL 80mm Case Cooling Fan

Pros: nice fan makes almost no noise and still moves air. i bought 2 for my a rear exhaust and a side window intake. still have to make the whole for the intake. but the exhaust is in and doing great.

Cons: none good cheap fan.

good gfx card for a budget.

BFG Tech GeForce 8400 GS 512MB DDR2 PCI Video Card BFGE84512GSP
BFG Tech GeForce 8400 GS 512MB DDR2 PCI Video Card BFGE84512GSP

Pros: good card I put this in my media rig to replace a old mx440 and it really brought it to life. the setup was not to bad (even on ubuntu linux) really i dont know what all i can say about this card it is a great gfx card for the money. it gets great fps even on high quality videos and some not so modern games like wolfenstien enamy teritors with all set to high.

Cons: the only con is the card dose not let my pci latch on the back of my case close. the card is seated firmly but you really have to push to get a screw in the latch

Overall Review: here are my reedouts of this card as i type this. core temp 40c gpu clock 567mhz memory clock 333mhz oh and nvidia x server says taht it is pci expressx1 (gen1) but it runs fine in my pci slot.

good psu

Broadway Com Corp P4OKIA600-Blue 600 W ATX12V Power Supply
Broadway Com Corp P4OKIA600-Blue 600 W ATX12V Power Supply

Pros: hooked this psu up in my media pc cause i bought more ram and a nvidia 8400gs (which needs 300 watts of its own) and it works great. fried right up. the lights are nice through my window but i would have liked brighter. other people have complained about noise but i added one more fan to my case and this psu and over all my noise level dropped from my old psu

Cons: my case is all screwless so there were no screw holes for the psu and it was to big for my clip. so i had to remove the clip and drill the holes. not the psu's fault so it dose not lose a egg for it though/

Overall Review: good psu fired right up and runs great and not to loud. for $20 and 600w what else do you need?
