Only the best

Pros: I have been a computer field technician for almost 5 years, and not only do I recommend AVG, but all the other techs I know recommend it too. It's the most effective anti-virus software I've ever tested, and once it's setup, you hardly have to think about it. AVG does an incredible job of staying ahead of the viruses out there with its frequent updates that take place in the background. It can also scan your machine in the background on a schedule, which is great for peace of mind. I've tested AVG against a number of different antivirus products, and I have yet to find any other product that can detect and neutralize the number of viruses that AVG can. When scanning a hard drive for a customer, for example, Norton and McAfee reported the drive as "clean", but AVG found 7 different trojan horse viruses. All-in-all, a great product.
Cons: For the basic computer user, there's not a whole lot of difference between the 'Pro' version and the Free version.
Overall Review: Unless your using the internet frequently and downloading a lot of things, such as drivers for other computers and the like, AVG Free edition works just as well as the paid 'Pro' version. If you're like me and use your internet a lot and actually download things that you'd like to be protected from in the unlikely event that something is infected, the 'Pro' version is for you.
Disappointing product

Pros: Clean, non-bitterant air. Longer constant airflow than canned 'air'.
Cons: Poor performance. I was VERY disappointed in the volume and pressure of the air output from the unit I purchased. Compared to the canned air that I use, this unit was blowing about half as much and half as 'hard' as the canned air. Testing it on a dirty fan, it cleaned the surface layer of dust, but it wasn't until I bought out the canned air that the compounded dust flew off.
Overall Review: Narrowing the end of the tube didn't help to increase the pressure either, otherwise it would have worked for me. Thankfully I bought mine through Ámazon, and returned it with no issues. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone who expects to replace their canned air with it.
Do NOT buy!

Pros: None
Cons: Everything. This product failed to protect against 14 different viruses! AVG Free had no trouble finding them, so why pay money for something that doesn't work?
Overall Review: The PC that had this installed on it belonged to a customer who brought it in and said he bought this antivirus on the Home Shopping Network... That should tell you all you need to know about how reliable this is.
DO NOT BUY!!!

Pros: ... Bought while on sale?
Cons: The driver compiled by the manufacturer, a division of MadCats, is defective. Installed on my Windows 7 64-bit, the driver, which was signed, is responsible for my BSOD, (0x00000116). I am a certified PC technician, and the only way I am going to be able to recover from this is by restoring or re-imaging my PC.
Overall Review: I read a number of negative reviews, but I didn't see any that were recent, so I figured that, while they were on the Shell Shocker deal, I'd give them a try. Boy do I regret that now. So bottom line: Do NOT buy these!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Pros: Ever since the 500 series came out, the best things about these cards is the price. Two fans seemed appealing, and having two DVI ports with an HDMI (mini) gives lots of options.
Cons: Where oh where do I start? I bought two of these for an SLI setup. They didn't really work when I got them, having a number of issues to begin with. Stupid me, I didn't RMA them right then and there, but I am a certified professional PC technician with years of experience and I thought I could fix them. After switching the cards positions on the mobo, they worked okay for about 2 weeks, and then I started having driver issues. I re-installed the latest driver and it seemed to fix the issue for a while. This continued until the problem got so bad that I tired installing the latest driver from Gigabyte's site (as opposed to Nvidia,) and that didn't help any. The death rattle of these cards was my screen turning into black and white pixels that looked like the snow on a TV. Needless to say, they wouldn't work after that. I was beyond the 30 day return limit from Newegg, so I turned to Gigabyte for support. They approved an RMA and I had to ship the cards to them...
Overall Review: (...continued) at my own expense. They kept them for a while and finally returned them, literally, saying they have been "tested". They worked for two days before the same issues that I sent them in with came back, although this time the pixel snow was in technicolor. I contacted Gigabyte again and demanded 'new' cards, which they finally approved and were nice enough to send a pre-paid shipping label for the two bad cards. A long time later, they sent me two different cards, same model though. I installed them in my machine and launched World of Warcraft when immediately turned my screens blank and crashed my computer. Rebooting the computer crashed trying to load the OS. I swapped out the video cards for the ATI 4670s I have on hand and everything's fine. I'm expecting a refund from Gigabyte, but bottom line for you reading this, this is a bad card design, there is no support, conclusion: AVOID THESE CARDS AT ALL COSTS!!!
Best Gaming Headset EVER!!!

Pros: This is by far the best headset I've ever had the pleasure of owning, and I've tried a good number of them. I play World of Warcraft, mainly, and the 7.1 surround sound is AMAZING. When used with compatible programs/games, you really get the full depth and location that stereo just doesn't deliver. This headset has some other amazing features, first and foremost is the QUALITY, I have- inadvertently of course- dropped this headset from my desk a few times, and it's still going strong. Second noteworthy feature(s) would be the, well... features. It's great being able to mute your mic with a dedicated button on the side, and you KNOW when you're muted via the red light at the end of the mic. With something like Ventrilo, it's a great headset. The mic is very good too, I sound crisp and clear when talking to people. The headset is also very comfortable and remains so for long periods of time, esp. when compared to other headsets, while also allowing your ears to 'breathe'
Cons: The fancy features of the software, i.e. voice morphing and key assignment could use some tweaking on the manufacturer's part, but like I said, I didn't buy this headset for being able to morph my voice.
Overall Review: The USB connection might be an issue for some people, but I haven't had any real problems that weren't attributed to my USB hub losing power, so it's a non-issue.
