"Eggcellent" TV

Panasonic Viera 32" 720p LCD HDTV
Panasonic Viera 32" 720p LCD HDTV

Pros: Very good picture quality, easy to set-up, good menu functions, good remote, ECO mode. Real quick on the ECO mode. Usually it's best to use an LCD TV on low brightness settings for the first 300 hrs, on ECO settings the brightness is tuned down just a notch. This makes the picture better overall and is good for the "break in period". To be completely honest, you'll be amazed at the quality of TV you get for the price. I've seen this set next to the higher priced Samsung's & Sony's. I'm sure Sony will always have the very tiny edge over the others, but you pay for that edge $$$. The difference between this set and the other previously mentioned is too small, if any is present, to be noticed. Panasonic has made a quality TV for awhile now, & this TV is no exception. P.S. You can't beat Newegg's service. This order was placed Sunday afternoon & I got both the TV and the Rosewill articular wall mount that I'll review on Wednesday the same week. Thank you Newegg! Keep up the good service.

Cons: My wife has still had to cook breakfast and dinner. I had hopes that this bad-a$$ TV would at least be able to whip up a breakfast taco. Darn the luck.

Overall Review: Go to the store, look at what you're about to spend your money on. Ask the sales rep. to let you see a remote so you can put your hands on what you're about to purchase from Newegg. They'll do anything for you if you make them believe you're about to make a purchase. You can't order a KIA off the internet and expect an Escalade then complain about the quality of product you just received. Another thought, the other name brands are being outdone by a couple smaller name brands and they know it, that's why there prices are coming down. Toshiba & Panasonic have come a very long way, I've seen both of the brands in action for the past few years in my family and both are exceptional products. Buy wisely and enjoy your wise purchase.

Great Buy

SAMSUNG Laptop Intel Core i7-720QM 4GB Memory 640GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 15.6" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit RF510-S02
SAMSUNG Laptop Intel Core i7-720QM 4GB Memory 640GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 15.6" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit RF510-S02

Pros: Very fast computer. I say computer cause this is more powerful than the PC I built a couple years ago. I'm very picky about the keyboards on laptops and really like this keyboard. Key spacing is as close to a regular keyboard as I've seen on a laptop. The included hardware for the price can't be beat, Core i7, huge HDD, usb 3.0, dual-layer dvd+rw, 4gb ram, bluetooth, and the nvidia graphics card to top all that. I have yet to do some video editing with it. I have a HD video camera that gets used a lot with my kids and such. With the specs on this baby, I'm sure it'll handle ANYTHING.

Cons: No blu-ray, but I didn't pay the premium. You can get a cheaper laptop with blu-ray but it won't have the rest of the goods like this one. The HDD was formatted at startup to only around 575 gb. I don't quite understand the reason. I know you loose a little bit, but that seems like a little too much to me.

Overall Review: Great buy. We went ahead and spent a little more to get this unit than originally planned, but I know that it won't be obsolete in a year from now with the usb 3.0, built in bluetooth, and graphics processor that it has. If you need a powerhouse, this will get you there with plenty of fuel left in the tank. Good quality build, lightweight, runs very cool, and is silent. This has been sitting on my lap for an hour now and I just don't feel the heat like my other laptops that don't do 1/4 of what this does.

Pros: Good picture quality on the other end of the wire.

Cons: None

Overall Review: This was for a family member in another state. I have seen the picture quality on my end of the conversation and it is good. Newegg shipping was free and fast. Good price, good C.S.

Pros: Very small, easy connection, fast.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Overall Review: Newegg used to take a whopping 3 days to ship something under the UPS garanteed 3 day free shipping. This time I received this in 2 days. What took so long? Way to go Newegg, as allways. P.S. I downloaded firmware from Linksys website for my Linksys WRT310N and then installed it. Only to brick my router. Tech support was sub par and said that I shouldn't have done that. If that were the case, why is the firmware update available on their website or why do they even update the firmware for their products if it shouldn't be done. This was not my first rodeo in the firmware dept. Bought a d-Link 655n from Newegg the next day. Thank you Newegg for the great prices and excellent C.S.

Pros: Cheap, solid, and worth every bit of the few bucks you spend on it.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Buy this one and you'll be happy. This purchase was for an older Dell Demension of my Dad's. It was a good boost from 256M stock to 1.2G. Computer runs very well now with no troubles.

Pros: It's a Canon at less than half price than it would've been new. This printer hooked up flawlessly to my Linksys router via WPS setting. It's fast and quiet. Prints good quality photos if they were taken with a decent camera. I've even scanned photos to copy them and they came out perfect, you couldn't tell that it was a copy. MANY features and settings to choose from to make customizing any part of it very easy. It comes with nice software that doesn't hog resources while running in the background like I've seen other printer maintenance software do to my machine.

Cons: I can't think of too many things wrong with this printer. I like it.

Overall Review: Others talk about how big this printer is. My Dad bought this as a replacement to his copy-room-sized Dell printer that he paid about $300 for. This is about 1/4 the size. Besides, it is wireless so you can put it anywhere in the room with only the power cable to hook up. It also has two Black ink cartridges, I guess so that photos will pull from one and the text doc's will pull from the larger one, good idea and feature.
