MSI Modern 14 14.0" Laptop R7 PRO 7730U 16GB RAM 512 GB PCIe SSD Windows 11 Home C7M-048US

Pros: -Good for the cost -Very lightweight -Solid speed and responsiveness -Crystal clear screen -Satisfying keyboard usage

Cons: -Mediocre battery life

Overall Review: Overall, I love this laptop! My only complaint, which I removed 1 star for, is the battery life. I expected the battery to last 30-40% longer than it actually does and didn't expect sleep mode to use nearly as much battery. My primary usage is Google Docs/Obsidian, YouTube as background music, and maybe a PDF open. I usually have it in power saving mode with the screen at 10-50% brightness. I mostly use it for a hour or two after I wake up in the morning and before I go to sleep. I leave it in sleep mode at night and charge it during the day. I have it stop charging at 80% battery to conserve the battery's lifespan. If I forget to charge it during the day, it'll be dead (or nearly dead) when I go to use it before bed. I need to get into the habit of turning it off between uses, but I was shocked it holds a charge so poorly in sleep mode. I'm still very happy with it though and would buy it again.

Pros: None

Cons: It doesn't work.

Overall Review: This card is definitely compatible with my motherboard, but it still doesn't work. I followed the instructions correctly and to the letter, but the thing couldn't find any of the dozen WiFi signals nearby. I tried everything I could think of (which was quite a bit), but to no avail. I finally called TrendNet tech support and they ran me through the steps of re-installing the drivers, something I'd done several times on my own already. After repeating these steps that I'd already done and being put on hold a couple times so they "techie" could research what he should have me do next, the guy told me that there was nothing he could do and that I should try the card on a friend's computer. Wow. Way to go customer/tech support. I give TrendNet an "F" in both categories and I'd give this product zero eggs if I could. I'll definitely be returning this piece of trash to where I got it and getting a different one. My suggestion is to not even bother buying this piece of junk. Note: I didn't buy this through NewEgg
