NOT a palm grip

Razer DeathAdder Ergonomic PC Gaming Mouse
Razer DeathAdder Ergonomic PC Gaming Mouse

Pros: FPS mouse - this mouse has seen competitive usage from the amateur to professional FPS scenes, mainly in Quake and the CS titles. unless you're an old-school bad boy who still uses an IM, this mouse will allow you to play to the best of your abilities. "off" setting for mouse acceleration and edge snapping are actually off, there isn't a hidden level of acceleration you have to disable. quality material and build. will last for more than three years with heavy play (i've had mine going on for five, and it sees use pretty much every day at work and at play)

Cons: had some issues with it during the first month of ownership on the mechanical click (double-clicked instead of single click sometimes), but it happened less and less frequently, so i'll attribute that to "breaking it in". wheel click starting to get less and less sensitive, but i've had it for hella long time so that's to be expected. nothing to dock an egg. the surface scratches off if you apply it to sandpaper (don't ask) or scratch it too hard (don't ask)

Overall Review: THIS IS A CLAW GRIP MOUSE. i can't emphasize this enough. don't buy if you want a palm grip mouse. go get the Logitech G400 if you're a palm gripper. i know razer's site says it's a palm grip, and there are exceptions to what i'm saying, but i encourage you to go feel it up yourself (micro center nearby or a friend who has it, or something) to be sure about it. every pro who uses this mouse uses it as a claw grip; it's used most effectively as a claw grip. i've had plenty of people who try to palm it tell me it's an awful mouse, and (with my limited experience with the palm grip withstanding) i've got to agree with them. again, THIS IS A CLAW GRIP MOUSE.
