best mouse pad

Cyber Snipa CSMPTR01 Tracer Mouse Pad
Cyber Snipa CSMPTR01 Tracer Mouse Pad

Pros: super slick but great control at the same time makes a heavy mouse feel weightless, perfect size, led lighting reduces eye fatigue/strain and helps me see stuff on my desk.

Cons: somewhat fragile so be carefull with it.

Overall Review: this mousepad worked without a hitch for about 4-6 months and then i moved and it warped im asuming it has to do with it being made out of glass and the high tempetures but not really sure what the cause is

Most Critical Review

Noisy but good flow.

XIGMATEK FCB (Fluid Circulative Bearing) Cooling System Crystal Series CLF-F1254 120mm White LED Case Fan PSU Molex Adapter/extender included
XIGMATEK FCB (Fluid Circulative Bearing) Cooling System Crystal Series CLF-F1254 120mm White LED Case Fan PSU Molex Adapter/extender included

Pros: Good airflow, i mounted it on bottom of PC to replace a old, low quality 120mm fan that was loud and had poor flow and it can suck a piece of paper from pretty far away. it lowered my case temps by about 2 degrees and lowered my graphics card by about 4 degrees. the lighting is very nice but i felt that other reviewers have over-hyped how bright it is it could be due to my computer case window being tinted. low price the 3 pin to molex adapter was one of the main reasons for me chosing this fan over its competitors.

Cons: Noise. i have several fans in my case Noctua NH-d14 cooler + 4x fractal 140mm fans. and this fan is easily heard above all of the other fans. Noise was not a high priority for me due to computer being setup in the family room my computer is easilly drowned out by evryone else in the house. however after evryone has gon to bed i notice that this fan is the loudest component of my pc however i was not expecting it to be MORE noisy than the fan it replaced (on paper it was supposed to be quieter) in person the fan noise is rather high pitched and it turned my once near silent computer into barely audible. i would not recommend someone buying multiples of this fan or using it in a very quiet office environment.

Overall Review: some cases isolate noises differently so your milage may very. the flow is very impressive but considering how much louder this fan was than another fan that was rated around 30db and my sytem went up by about 4db overall either i got a defective unit or Xigmatek under rates their noise levels i probably will not purchase another fan from xigmatec in the future.

Great airflow a little noisy

Fractal Design Silent Series R2 140mm Silence Optimized Hydraulic Bearing Black/White Computer Case Fan
Fractal Design Silent Series R2 140mm Silence Optimized Hydraulic Bearing Black/White Computer Case Fan

Pros: Good airlfow, comes with rubber mounting hardware, long cables. Nicely built. attractive price

Cons: At full speed you diffidently hear them. i have four in my case and i have to throttle them to 7v to get them "silent" that being said the airflow is still very good at 7v that it makes no difference to my temps between 7v and 12v which is a good and why i only deducted 1 egg when also considering the price of the fans.

Overall Review: if you are needing 1-3 fans these are quiet enough not to be noticeable i am sure however for 4+ i would probably look elsewhere if you are needing the maximum airflow. luckily my temps were fine runing them at 7 volts. Lastly its not so much the volume noise itself as it is the frequency of the noise that is heard it is very high-pitched and just very noticeable sitting in the side of the room if i don't throttle the fans down. the fans that are used as intake fans behind a metal mesh and cloth filter are the most noticeable fans so again i would consider your other options for intake fan. When i Remove the front cover most of the noise goes away.

Average product. look elsewhere.

Razer Kraken Pro Over Ear PC Gaming and Music Headset- Green
Razer Kraken Pro Over Ear PC Gaming and Music Headset- Green

Pros: Sound is clear and no distortion at max volume. really really long cord. light weight. more comfortable than most in this price range. retractable mic. durabillity over a year old and it still works like new.

Cons: Price. for this much money i expect better i've used cheaper products that was better. it could use more volume. i dont use a headphone amp but even without one it seems on the low side compared to some sony headphones i have. The output is single male and requires you use a splitter(included) to plug into the red and green inputs on your computer but for some reason the contacts on the headset wear the splitters out and im on my 3rd one it basically causes lots of distortion on the mic and some buzz in the speakers. IF you have a large head i would try before you buy because they are small i have a large head and i use it on its most expanded it fits but if my head was any larger at all it would not.

Overall Review: its a great product but for the money there is better out there on the market. its "nice"but average in the segment. the main thing i am usually wanting more is volume maybe a headphone amp will solve this down the road i wil update my review if i ever get one. listening to music is pleasurable and gaming is great

Great computer speakers

Eagle ET-AR504LR-BK 35 Watts RMS 2.1 Black Soundstage Speakers
Eagle ET-AR504LR-BK 35 Watts RMS 2.1 Black Soundstage Speakers

Pros: Great sound quality. durable speakers. louder then i expected. i can crank the volume to maximum and do not notice any distortion. wireless remote control, wooden enclosures. great bargain.

Cons: some background noise when there is no audio playing on the speakers when you have the treble maxed. no power button on the remote and you have to flip the switch behind the subwoofer to turn it off. no mid range eq control or crossover control

Overall Review: the display screen on the subwoofer is a bit confusing and is way too bright. The speakers make low bit rate audio sound like very low quality audio. there is some quality loss when the volume is set low you need to have the volume turned to about 1/4 to really hear.

best for the money

Eagle ET-AR504LR-BK 35 Watts RMS 2.1 Black Soundstage Speakers
Eagle ET-AR504LR-BK 35 Watts RMS 2.1 Black Soundstage Speakers

Pros: this speaker system has the best sound for the money you can find. in this price range you cannot find all wood enclosures and the frequency response this system has. my girlfriend is using this in her very small bedroom (7ft x 6.5ft x 7ft) and you can feel the sound pressure in your chest in this small room. i bought thees because i dont like the tiny pod sized runts that are passing as computer speakers today.

Cons: they are not loud but for my use they MORE then loud enough. i wish the cables were longer but i would rather cables being too short then too long. (just get extenders) the LED display is confusing to read.

Overall Review: again these are not powerful speakers but when i plugged them in for the first time i was amazed. way better then i expected! if you are using this for bedroom/personal use they are great but these wouldent pass for home theater or party entertainment.
