Great Monitor, Even Better Customer Service
Pros: This monitor is wonderful.. the resolution is great and the contrast is great... But the best part is, once the LCD got buggy, Sceptre was the easiest company to work with when it comes to RMA I have ever dealt with... I downloaded the form, filled it out and faxed it in, and within 48 hours I had a RMA number... I sent the monitor in to their RMA department and I got it back, with a brand new LCD, earlier than I expected!!! try that with Sony!
Cons: The blue does bleed through a slight bit, but even at total black I haven't really noticed it... On the replacement LCD there is a stuck green pixel, but it is hardly noticeable.....
Overall Review: They don't list it... but this montitor is HDCP compliant... you can use a HDMI->DVI adapter and have your source output 720p and you can have HDTV from just about any source... They make 1080p native displays as well if you search for them...
Do not buy this!
Pros: This is not worth anything over $15. HDMI is completely digital. There are much less expensive cords online! Even on Newegg!
Cons: Way too expensve! No sense in buying!
Great LCD
Pros: When I first saw this I didn't realize how amazing 1680x1050 is when you put it on a screen this size. Wow! It is super-sharp and great for multitasking!
Cons: Blue Sceptre logo bleeds into LCD-area a slight amount. I haven't really noticed it, however.
Overall Review: No DVI cable, but VGA works fine. Haven't tried with games.
Useful for Rarely Accessed Hard Drives, Too Loud for Main Disk
Pros: Great price!
Cons: REALLY LOUD. Word can not describe how loud this drive is when reading/writing. I am only using it for storing media that I rarely use. When I add new data, however, you can really hear it.
Overall Review: Don't use this as your main disk or a disk that is accessed a lot.
