Works Great and Advice for those with 127 gigs showing
Pros: Fast. I ordered 5 of them. Can not beat the price and size.
Cons: Had 4 of these show as 127 gigs... Read below for the solution as they are all fine and I did not have to RMA them.
Overall Review: This drive works fine, the first I installed showed 250 gigs. The next 4 showed 127 gigs... The issue was the software. The first cd I used had service pack to on it, the next computer I did did not have service pack 2 on it. When the first got done and i went back with the service pack 2 cd all came up at 250 gigs.
Sounds great when its working...
Pros: These things sound great. The battery last a long time and you can plug in and charge as you use them if they go dead. Very comfortable, I can wear them for hours without any issues. The software is a small bonus if you want to use it to give people a hard time, you have several voices to choose from. Mic is very clear. Over the ears almost seal and make it almost noise cancelling effect.
Cons: There is only 1 major flaw that these things have, and even though they are great I would not recommend them from this point on, until it is fixed. The USB device that plugs into your computer randomly will power off and back on. What this means for you is that you are in the middle of something and you hear a beep and then it stops working for about 2 seconds and comes back on. There are many post on the support forums in reference to this exact issue. People have tried to plug the usb device into different ports, turn off all things around, all kinds of things. Razer had a similiar issue and had a firmware update. I have had these for a year with that one small issue. If you are on vent and someone is talking explaining a fight or whatever you have to say, sorry i didnt hear the last 5 seconds cause it turned off. If your in a skype phone call you find yourself repeating and asking to repeat alot.
Overall Review: If they fixed the error with the usb device resetting this would be a great buy, but with that flaw I would not recommend anyone getting these. Also alot of people who purchased these RMA'd them back and got another set with the exact same issues. You have a high chance of getting a faulty usb device so buyers beware. I actually took the time to write this because I feel that they have no intentions on correcting the issue and do not want to see many more on the forums frustrated over this.
Not happy
Pros: Though it looks good on paper i have had too many issues to say any pros at this moment.
Cons: I got the system and after several lock ups identified that the motherboard is bad. It has bad USB ports on the back side. If I use the Case front USB it works fine, just not the ones off the back of the motherboard. This system just locks up and hangs randomly. I tried to get with EVGA in reference to an RMA, I wanted to pay for a motherboard and then send them back this one so I had no down time. They only offer that service if you pay for it when you register it.
Overall Review: I will definately not be purchasing any more EVGA products as I feel that their customer service is lacking and that they are trying to make money off of a warranty issues. As it stands I will be down when I pull this motherboard out to send it back to have it repaired and get a replacement refurbished or repaired motherboard. I always feel like we are getting the short end of the stick when you buy something new and it doesnt work and they replace it with a refurbished component. With the issues I have had I wish I just would of bought a cheap I7 MB.
Does not perform as listed
Pros: Works fine on a 110 current.
Cons: This product states that it can do both 110/220 input. However when I plug this thing into 220 it does not work. I paid more money for shipping and handling then what the product cost so that I would have something with good power on a 220 power grid. I am very unhappy to spend the extra money i did to get this one with the only bearing being that it was 110/220 auto sensing.
Overall Review: If the description did not have 110/220 as an input I would not have bought this product. If you are looking to use it on a 220 power grid look elsewhere.
