Works great! Easy setup (if you ignore the instructions)

BUFFALO Network USB 2.0 Print Server - LPV3-U2
BUFFALO Network USB 2.0 Print Server - LPV3-U2

Pros: USB 2.0 interface, small! I set it up in under 60 seconds. This will work most standard usb printers and any OS made within the last decade. I'm using it with a Samsung ML-1740 laser.

Cons: Doesn't make me breakfast.

Overall Review: Like those who came before me and gave it a good review, know what your doing BEFORE you start. DO NOT USE THE ENCLOSED SETUP CD!! IT WILL ONLY MAKE YOU CRY!! I used the instructions provided in the previous review and it seriously took less than 60 seconds to set up. Easy.

It worked great (mostly)... until it didn't

IOGEAR GKM581R Black 13 Function Keys USB RF Wireless On-Lap Keyboard with Optical Trackball and Scroll Wheel
IOGEAR GKM581R Black 13 Function Keys USB RF Wireless On-Lap Keyboard with Optical Trackball and Scroll Wheel

Pros: Pros: The case feels great in your hands/on your lap! The materials are rather rubbery where they need to be, so it doesn't slip in your hands. The keyboard is a good size so finding your keys isn't too bad. It has amazing range (40+ feet and 2 walls in my house).

Cons: Charging, charging, charging!! I often have to mess around with the batteries for them to take a charge. The first unit didn't charge at all (newegg RMA's rock!!). The forward facing scroll wheel has a very thin piece of plastic that connects it to the sensor, so if you click on it (which it supports), you might break it (as mine did today). The nubs that tell your fingers in the dark where the home row is are also rather small, so getting your fingers on the right keys to type can be tricky in the dark.

Overall Review: I purchased this for use with a media center (so it doesn't get a ton of use). Since the scroll wheel broke today, mine is pretty much useless for that purpose. I did like it a lot, I had to ding it at least one star for the charging issues. I had to drop another after seeing how poorly they designed the forward facing scroll wheel and left click buttons.

Newegg makes it affordable

SAMSUNG ML-1710D3 Cartridge Black
SAMSUNG ML-1710D3 Cartridge Black

Pros: These things last a VERY long time!! They take seconds to replace and give you nice, sharp printing. Plus, the regular Newegg price is at least 25% less than you will pay locally. Always a bonus!!!

Cons: They don't last forever, and they don't change themselves.

Overall Review: These cartridges also contain the drum for the laser printer. This is fantastic as you get a new drum every time you replace the cartridge! But be aware... do not touch the drum (the green tube) or you may have printing issues until you replace it.

It lived a short life

OCZ Rally2 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model OCZUSBR2DC-16GB
OCZ Rally2 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model OCZUSBR2DC-16GB

Pros: Slim and easy to get into tight spots. The length is nice too.

Cons: Died after 3 months. Now it just flashes when inserted into a PC (makes a handy disco light for raves)

Overall Review: I'm sure my experience isn't the standard, but I had to give it only 2 eggs for it's short life.

Nice for the price!

Rosewill 4-Port Slim USB 3.0 Mini Hub, with Built-in 2" Cable, Compatible with Windows & macOS, Portable Pocket Size Travel Accessory - RHB-320B
Rosewill 4-Port Slim USB 3.0 Mini Hub, with Built-in 2" Cable, Compatible with Windows & macOS, Portable Pocket Size Travel Accessory - RHB-320B

Pros: Compact with a lot of ports. Powered so that things like my webcam and iPod work great with it! I like the fact that it has ports on the top, which are great for plugging my thumb drive into. Would also work great with a USB NIC. It appears to be very well made and has a nice high gloss finish. It also has a low center of gravity, so it doesn't tip over when you plug a lot of cables into it.

Cons: It only comes in red, so if you don't like red, don't order it.

Overall Review: Installing on Vista 64 was stupidly easy.. just plug it in and it's there!

A lot of value for the dollar

JVC THC60 DVD Digital Theater System
JVC THC60 DVD Digital Theater System

Pros: Setup was very easy and the system delivers very clean, clear sound. The subwoofer delivers good bass. This system has more than enough power to rock a normal room (I have 20' cathedral ceilings and it's still plenty loud). The remote also has good range and can control the unit from a wide angle (trust me... that's important!). Since this sytem is a AM/FM tuner, CD player, DVD Player, and MP3 player, I replaced several components with it (now I'm down to 2 remotes, one for this unit and one for my Tivo). Anything that looks good, sounds good, and simplifies my life IS good!

Cons: To play MP3's (from disk or from USB), you need to turn on your TV and navigate through the menus (built in display isn't much help). It only has one input so you can only hook one device to it (I used it for my Tivo's audio). Oh... and when it's turned off... it has a very bright and somewhat annoying red led that glows. None of those things are show stoppers, but they're the only cons I can think of.

Overall Review: One thing the specs don't tell you is how the thing loads. It has 5 individual slim-line CD drawers, and you can play one disk while changing the any or all of the other 4 (which is nice when you're rotating your music).
