Great for gaming!

Linksys WGA54G Wireless-G Game Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g Ethernet Port Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates
Linksys WGA54G Wireless-G Game Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g Ethernet Port Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: This is the best wireless adapter I've ever used. I have used the linksys WMP110 (dont get it) and D-link WUA 1340 (bad for gaming). I have vista 32bit and this thing is great and easy to use once you get it to work that is. I play COD 4 online a lot and not once did it disconnect. Infact it has never disconnected, accept when I of course disconnect it. It says it'll give you 54Mbps but my computer reads 100Mbps. Comes with the ethernet so you dont have to get another how convenient! I am not too far away from my router like 55 feet away and that's what I got. Looks slick. Yes I recommend and am very satisfied with this product.

Cons: Ok I bought this to use it for my PC ADAPTER AS OPPOSED TO WHAT THE BOX SAYS TO USE IT WITH A GAME CONSOLE so the only bad part is configuring this thing to work with your computer. It did take a little bit of work (bout 45 min) to get this to work for me. It is advertised for gaming consoles but it can also be used for your computer. Search online for instructions on how to do so, you have to change some IP, Subnet, Gateway stuff like you normally have to.

Overall Review: System specs: Windows Vista Home Premium OEM version CPU - Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.5 GHz HDD - ExcelStor Technology 250 GB MOBO - EVGA 730i/ 9300GPU Ram - Corsair 800 Mhz 2GB (2x1GB) Linksys Game Adapter WGA54G 100 Mbps PSU - Xion 450 Watts I will be getting the EVGA 9800 GTX soon

Not for the gamer

D-Link WUA-1340 Wireless G USB Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g USB 2.0 Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates
D-Link WUA-1340 Wireless G USB Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g USB 2.0 Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: Alright guys well I just got this last week and first off I'd like to say this is an adapter that gets you on the internet, able to use webcam (msn AIM), doesnt disconnect too often. The extender cable for the usb is VERY long so it can be moved. When I say long its more like about a yard. Software is easy to install kinda.

Cons: I will be returning this adapter for another one tomorrow. This is not the type of adapter that I thought it would be. Installing the software was easy however after restarting the comp the first time , it was kinda hard to get it up and running again. Also sometimes on booting the computer I'd have to disconnect then reconnect the adapter for the computer to recognize the device. Personally I think the user interface of the wireless manager software is ugly, but it is simply to use. Anyways the main problem is that I cannot play online computer games without the game lagging every 30 sec. I have only tested Call of Duty 4 and have not tried World of Warcraft yet. So yup cant pwn when I lag haha

Overall Review: Overall I'm giving it 3 eggs cause it does it's main job. It does what it needs to do, internet, webcam, video streaming. JUST NOT GOOD FOR GAMING. Sorry for the long review :P
