Pros: I wanted to wait a while before giving this a review to make sure everything was in working order. I went from a Amd Phenom x4 black edition to this CPU last year. The phenom was starting to show its age. I absolutely love Amd's products, but was not to impressed with the current CPU line up. Well a buddy of mine said to give the i5 4690k cpu a shot read plenty of reviews and other articles and decided a i7 was a bit over kill for my needs. Chip fired right up and never had a issue games ran quite a bit smoother and I noticed my system was not running near as hot. This thing does awesome. This year I decided to start OC it. Yeah even with a small bump temps went way up. Then I got back into Folding@home this program makes the cpu work. I let it work for a few hours at medium load to see how my temps would do, got up to 90c at stock clocks and was still working its way up. So went and got a Corsair H55 and temps dropped significantly barely touches 45c being over clocked to 4.2ghz at full load. I know there is plenty more room for OC but really no need to.

Cons: Stock cooler I knew this coming in. It really is junk even at stock speeds. Gaming it would get to 80c.

Overall Review: Buy this it is a awesome CPU havent found any bottle necking with this cpu yet with a R9 390. I recommend a better cooler I went with a H55(was worried it would not be up to task)have not been disappointed at all!

Pros: Got the board installed nice and easy. Setup was quick. I liked the quick connect plugs for the case power switch. Only been able to run some Benchmarks but all ran better then my old setup

Overall Review: EDIT: It has been over a year now and still working like a champ. Great motherboard. May be time to upgrade. I need more system fan slots as the new case I am running has no drive bays for a fan controller!
