Good Board
Pros: Board give you lots of flexibility with drives, usb and even firewire. Seems to be very stable. Updating bios was easy with the gigabyte update utility. I've installed 3 of these boards with only one head-scratcher. See below
Cons: None. I'm not an overclocker so haven't had any issues with bios options.
Overall Review: Head-scratcher - I couldn't get the board to boot the sata hard drive from cold start. I searched and finally found the reason. After a bios update, you need to load the optimized defaults in the bios. I did that, rebooted then went in and made my bios tweaks. All was well after that.
Perfect Headless Server
Pros: This thing is perfect as a Linux headless server. I have Ubuntu server upgraded to 10.4 on this with two 2TB drives in software raid 1. I use this for samba, ssh, ampache music streaming, sftp and other things. It runs basically 24/7. The Ampache streaming over the net is flawless. I have listened to my music from many different states.
Cons: Doesn't cook eggs and bacon.
Overall Review: For a low power server, you really can't beat it. I think this could easily be a file server in a small biz environment, at least with a linux OS. My CPU load on this is almost nothing and I am backing up huge image files to it almost daily.
