This review is from: Acer V223WEJbmd Black 22" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 ACM 50000:1(1000:1)
Pros: Was good to go out of the box, used primarily for gaming and HD video. Very good display.
Cons: Nothing that would prevent me from recommending this. I may even buy another.
Other Thoughts: Not the most beautiful monitor there, but for the price I'm not really complaining.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning PC Game
Pros: This game looks and sounds beautiful. Content wise, its a lot of fun. Great PvP mechanics for being in such an early stage. I can't really elaborate much more, but if you liked WoW, you'll really like this game.
The play is really fun, because you're thrown into the fray right away, rather than grinding out a few levels to figure out things, or engage the opposing faction. I like the fact that the classes are different, but can be viewed as the same (Witch Elf vs Witch Hunter) but are still VERY different!
Cons: Still in its infancy. I fell through the world twice. But you have to expect this, hopefully a lot of the bugs and things people expect (item linking) will be tweaked in coming patches.
This is a MUCH more demanding program than World of Warcraft. I tried to run it on a 2.2ghz AMD, 2gram, 128mbGPU and failed miserably. HIGHLY recommend that you EXCEED computer requirements to really drink in the beauty of this game.
Other Thoughts: Often in WoW, I found my self asking questions regarding lore, and was sadly disappointed. This game doesn't let that happen, the tome of knowledge feature is really, really cool.
If you're looking for a fun PvP centered MMO check it out. But don't start comparing it to WoW 2.4.3 or 3.0, there are almost 4 years of development and refinement. 1.0 vs 1.0, Warhammer wins, HANDS DOWN.
This review is from: World of Warcraft: Battle Chest PC Game
Pros: Exceptional immersion RPG game. Offers a lot to players, from the hardcore to the causal. There is normally always something new every few months, and the list of things to explore and do never ends. If you played WC I, II, and/or III this game is a LOT of fun.
Cons: Tends to be addictive. Know your limits and consider your obligations before playing this game. 6-8 hour sessions are common, and the game can severely impact your outside life. Some also argue that Blizzard has bad customer service, but in my 4 years of play, I have no complaints.
Other Thoughts: Best game I've ever played, requires a LOT of time, low computer requirements, but when played on a powerful computer it looks great. Solid story with a lot of fun stuff.READ FULL REVIEW
