Perfect size, simple enough to setup - better to use in bridge mode than routed mode.
Pros: Small foot print, simple enough to setup and use.
Cons: Web interface is kind of sluggish, does not work with Stinger DSLAMs.
Overall Review: If you have VDSL2 from Bell, TSI, Start, Ebox, etc and are looking for an alternative to the SmartRG, then this is a good option. The only downside is that the DM200 will only sync with a 7330 remote. If you are on a Stinger, this modem will not work. Ask your ISP which FTTN remote your are connected to before purchasing this modem. Hopefully Netgear will get their act together and add Stinger support via a firmware update, since more and more VDSL2 modem vendors are adding Stinger support.
Dissapointing - one memory stick dies after less than six months of use.
Pros: I honestly cannot think of any real pros at this point.
Cons: This was my first time purchasing CORSAIR RAM. One of the memory sticks stop working properly after less than six months. The memory stick is detected, bu the RAM amount is not listed as being available. When 16GB are installed, the system reports 16GB, but only 8GB usable. Memtest86+ shows both sticks, but says only 8GB will be tested. I'll stick with Mushkin and Kingston - have not had any issues with either of those to date. Mobo: GA-990FXA-UD5 CPU: AMD FX 9590
Overall Review: Tried CORSAIR once, won't use them again.
Great upgrade to an older laptop.
Pros: Speed and price.
Overall Review: Replaced the spinning HDD with this SSD and my laptop has gone from feeling as sluggish as Molasses flowing downhill in winter to something that is usable and responsive to the point where I am no longer waiting for the HDD to do something.
Perfect combiunatoin of cable lengths.
Pros: 3ft is used in the car, the 6ft used and my work desk and sofa, the 10fr in the bedroom. No more dragging cables all over the place.
Cons: Can't think of any.
Overall Review: I'll probably end up buying a couple of more of these as gifts for people.
Can't seem to go wrong with Crucial
Pros: Fast drive, brought new life to an old PC.
Cons: None that I have noticed.
Overall Review: I have ordered four of these 2TB SSD's over the past 12 months to upgrade older PC's and laptops. All of them feel like modern systems again, fast boot-up times and quick application loading.
Hot Deals 4 Less really was a Hot Deal
Pros: TBH, I was not expecting the RAM sticks to be delivered as quickly as they were. The order was placed at 13:30 EST and delivered the following day at 11:30. Given that the price includes the slice Newegg takes, pays for cross continent overnight delivery and customs and brokerage fees, the price was a Hot Deal. The first thing I did was check the RAM stick for 24 hours on two different systems (2nd system in the pic), all tests passed and have been using the RAM in my main system for a couple of days now. No issues, just praise.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I have always had a good experience with all the Mushkin RAM I have used over the past 15-ish years or so and it looks like I'm in line for many more years of good use.
Hot Deals 4 Less really was a Hot Deal!
TBH, I was not expecting delivery as quickly as it was. The order was palced at 13:30 EST and delivered the next day at 11:30. Given that the price included cross continent overnight delivery, customs & brokerage fees and Neweggs slice, the price really was a hot deal!
What can I say, the SATA cables work, seeming good quality and delivered quickly.
Quick delivery - big disconnect between their system and Newegg system.
I placed an order early in the days (~9am) for some shrink wrap tubing, by 8pm, there was no indication on the Newegg site that the order was even being processed. The package arrived the following morning just after 10am. The lack of information about order progression is kind of disconcerting, but overall I can not say anything overtly negative about my experience with them.
