This review is from: Raijintek All-In-One Open Loop Liquid Cpu Cooler w/ New Pump, Water Block, Tank Design, 2* 12025 Fans, 2 Led Lights, Fan Rpm Controller, Solid Mounting Kits, Sturdy Installation - Triton Gree
Pros: - Great looking
- Works the way it should and better
- Fairly easy install
Cons: - Tubes are a bit long
- Fans are noisy
- Didn't come with the 3-pin connector for fans
- Metal bracket doesn't seem too secure
Other Thoughts: I had bought this on NeweggFlash mainly because my old liquid cooler was a bit outdated by a few years. Noticed CPU heat was climbing and staying. So I ordered this nice looking liquid cooling system and got it within 3 days. After install, noticed the metal bracket is a bit loose or doesn't tighten too well, but it seems to stay without rattle. The waterblock also seemed a bit wobbly so i just used some electrical tap around the base of the block. It was the only thing available to me at the time. That seemed to stop it from shifting about. Next was the length of the tubes. They are a bit long and I'm sure I could shorten them but I'm not too worried. After running my PC I noticed the noise from the fans instantly and had to change them immediately. Note to reader, If you plan on buying this, buy 2 other fans as well unless you have 2 to spare. The stock fans are just way too noisy for my liking. Other than that it does the job well, my PC is running very cool with CPU being as low as 60 - 70 degrees. When replacing the stock fans, the instructions said there was connector cables but I did not receive any. Luckily I had a connector cable for the 2 fan replacements to spare.
After reading a few reviews it was a bit uneasy buying this but I am not regretting on buying it. It looks cool and does the job.
Pros: - Easy Install
- Win 8.1 Compatible
- Excellent Range (Router 1st Floor, PC 3rd Floor)
- Great Software to Help Connect to Internet
- Fast Shipping
Cons: - PC didn't Recognize Adapter First Time.
I had an issue where my PC wasn't picking up the newly installed adapter so the driver disc wouldn't install anything. After a few restarts and unplugging the adapter, it started recognizing it.
Other Thoughts: As you see there are more pros than cons, but then again I have only had this for a short time but what I can say is this thing is great! I got it to replace a USB wireless adapter that would say it kept disconnecting on Win 8.1 but after this adapter, I have had no issues like that what so ever. Other than my old adapter, I am now able to use the 5GHz band of my router and it is so much faster now. The connection can be a bit less than that of the 2.4GHz but not too bad. As said in the pros, the range is great. My PC is on the 3rd floor and my router is on the first floor with no interruptions. I highly suggest this to anyone for it is a great adapter and does the job well.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Microsoft Windows 8.1 - Full Version (32 & 64-bit)
Pros: - Fast
- Quick Install (10 min w/ SSD)
- No issues ran into along the way.
- Quick startup
- Choice of 32 & 64 bit
- Came with free AntiVirus (didn't use it though)
Cons: - Some things don't run on Win 8 yet (My wireless adapter wasn't win 8 compatible and tends to disconnect randomly)
- Uninstalled a few tiles, just annoying.
Other Thoughts: I switched from Win 7 Ultimate and was afraid I was going to miss Win 7, I do but this still does it for me. I had bought a new SSD and wanted Win 8 on a fast, clean drive. It asks me if i want to use win 7 or win 8.1 every startup (haven't transferred from old drive yet) but i like that in case if i wanted to until i wipe the drive. I suggest this, highly. If your sick of your pc constantly running at the best it can to make things go faster but without straining your pcs lifetime, this is the OS for you.READ FULL REVIEW
