MSI 970A SLI Krait Edition AM3+ AMD 970 & SB950 6 x SATA 6Gb/s 2 x USB 3.1 ATX AMD Motherboard
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

5 out of 5 eggs It isn't rated for 220 watt cpu. 06/27/2015

This review is from: MSI 970A SLI Krait Edition AM3+ AMD 970 & SB950 6 x SATA 6Gb/s 2 x USB 3.1 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: It is a cheap board. Do your homework before you buy it. There is a list of boards that are approved for the 9370 and 9590. Get over it. If you want the best you have to pay for it. You have only yourself to blame bro.

Cons: People who don't research before they buy then they do the blame game.

5 out of 5 eggs ASUS makes great FM2+ and AM3+ boards. 06/02/2015

This review is from: ASUS CROSSBLADE RANGER FM2+ AMD A88X (Bolton D4) 8 x SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Some people just have a bad case of PEBKAC. Like the people who can't figure out how to update their BIOS. And they blame ASUS. Then they writes off ASUS. Maybe they should figure out the problem before pointing fingers. Anyway. I have the Crossblade Ranger and an ASUS A88X-Pro both with 860K's and they are both awesome boards. This board matches my ASUS Crosshair 5 Formula-Z with my 8370.

Cons: None!

5 out of 5 eggs Some sort of sticky goo"! 03/08/2015

This review is from: PH-TC14S, Slim Twin Towers, 140mm PWM CPU cooler

Pros: A reviewer wrote- Cons: This thing arrived with some sort of sticky goo on the part that makes contact with the CPU. I had to clean it off with WD-40 and then remove that with rubbing alcohol. And he had his tech level at "Expert"? He removed the pre-applied thermal paste! How can you be that clueless? That is comic gold!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I hope the guy didn't fry his cpu!
