Most Favorable Review

Worked in Dell 1950 and 2950

Kingston 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM ECC Fully Buffered DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Server Memory Model KTD-WS667/8G
Kingston 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM ECC Fully Buffered DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Server Memory Model KTD-WS667/8G

Pros: Dropped in and fired up- all modules recognized and seem to be stable. Much cheaper than Dell retail for same modules. Working well for VMWare environment- 24GB in one server (had eight to begin with, added 16G of the kingston) and added 8 apiece to the other two servers.

Cons: Cost- the other model of this memory was not cross listed for the Dell.

Not for Dell MD1000

Fujitsu MBA3300RC 300GB 15000 RPM 16MB Cache Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Fujitsu MBA3300RC 300GB 15000 RPM 16MB Cache Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Fast drives. Good price.

Cons: Firmware not supported for Dell MD1000. Fujitsu will not support "cross platform firmware conversion" even though exact same model different firmware sold by Dell.

Overall Review: Can't say how they perform long term or under heavy use. Will need to repurpose due to incompatability and the fact I did not get them installed and checked until the 30 days was right at the end...

Suprisngly Good

Logitech X-240 25 Watts 2.1 Speakers
Logitech X-240 25 Watts 2.1 Speakers

Pros: Although this is not the loudest or deepest sounding set, for the minor amount of money they are they are unbeleivable. The bass is tight and suprisingly deep and the speakers actually image. They probably don't play heavy duty stuff real well, but their overall balance and detail is uncanny for the amount of money. Dire Straits, Steely Dan and the like sound like music. They are much better than most of the "boomy" sets I have heard for double and triple the money.

Cons: The first set I owned I static discharged to and blew them up (right channel about gone). I make sure to touch something else now.

Overall Review: For the insame low amount of money they do a lot of things right. I will not be buying anything other than Logitech for computer speakers for my office. speakers

Mushkin Enhanced Essentials 512MB DDR 400 (PC 3200) Desktop Memory Model 991093

Comments: Great inexpensive memory.. my NF7-s posted the memory at 2.5-3-3-8 with zero tweakings. Stock voltages of 2.6 work great. Will buy another stick to go to a gig soon. Two thumbs up!!!
