Pros: Records well from far distances. It is easy to manage the files once captured. Good for school or personal notes to self. Connects to computer running Vista. It creates a good wav file format that is very lightweight and works on basicly all Windows machines. Copy and paste Wav files out of the the wav file player that ships with this unit. Alarm features are funny too!

Cons: Required a visit to the Olympus website for a Windows Vista update, then I had to find the un-known device in the Vista device manager and trigger an internet search for the driver for that device. Only after I installed the Vista patch did the driver install properly. There is a program that comes with it that installs fine but without the driver, the sound player program cannot access the unit.

Pros: A good fast SSD for the price!

Cons: Not very reliable.

Overall Review: I purchase this device in 11/2008, in 11/2009 it died and would not load an OS. I did an RMA on it back to Patriot Memory which cost me $30.00 in shipping fees. Two weeks later my drive arrived, I installed it, ran it for 1 week and it failed. I do not want to pay another $30.00 just to get it replaced again, so I spent $60.00 on a new regular hard drive instead.

Pros: A good digital cable. Since there are just 1's and 0's going arcoss this lightpipe there is no real chance for distortion, this really seems to level the playing field with cabling. If its digital, its going to be a good cable.

Cons: THe only con and the reason for giving this a 4 egg is due to the shipping. Even though I ordered this cable along with a computer, I still paid for shipping seperate on the cable. Shipping added another 7 bucks. Not that big of a deal and it beats any price from stores local like CC or BB.

Overall Review: Just remember to figure in shipping costs seperate and you should be fine!

Pros: I did a lot of research on these SSDs before buying and I had to try this one out, it was irresistable. I am glad that I did, it is really fast booting up Vista 64. It is so fast that it is nearly annoying. I used to have time inbetween reboots to go get a pop, flip through the TV channels or something but not any more.Less than 30 seconds to reboot from the moment my monitor goes blank to a fully loaded desktop + login on Vista64! SO I can say that so far, I love this drive. Ibought 8 gigs of memory for 100 bucks and now I run this drive without a swap file (page file). Be sure to set your swap file to 16 M first then reboot before you turn it off. WIndows will keep that file around at its last specified size hogging up space on your SSD. In my case that would have costed me 8 gigs of my 64 gig drive. Running x64 with 8 gig of ram and no page file is so sweet! THere is no writing to the SSD at all but It was still fast with an 8 gig pagefile.

Cons: We need 500 gig SSDs now on sale for 50 bucks!

Pros: WOW!!! 8 gigs of super fast RAM for 100 bucks!!! OH MAN YOU CANNOT BEAT THIS!!! THis is really fast RAM, it is also ideal for overclocking because of the Gold heat sinks. I have been using RAM for many, many years, back when 16K costed 50 bucks. In all my years, I have never seen RAM with heat sinks on it. I did not think the RAM would fit in the board because of the heat sinks, they are fat little chips. However, everything fit fine. I am not overclocking anything, its just not my style. This allowed me to run Vista x64 and I turned off my page file completely so there is no disk activity once up and running. Everything is loaded into RAM and I still have nearly 7 gigs free to do whatever is needed.

Cons: The only Con is that I cannot get 8 gig chips for the same price!
