What a deal!

EVGA GeForce 9600 GSO 384MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 384-P3-N966-TR
EVGA GeForce 9600 GSO 384MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 384-P3-N966-TR

Pros: Upgraded from an X1950 Pro. Easily doubled my performance... Cared OCed to 660/1800 with no problem with stock cooler. The fan, even under load is pretty quiet -- I previously had (and reviewed) the Gigabyte 9600 GT w/ Zalman cooler, which was so loud it went back after a few hrs. Much happy with this! And I managed to get it for about $35 - WOW! It's revitalized my love of FPS!

Cons: It's not a GTX 280? If you're not on a budget, look elsewhere ...

Overall Review: Just running a BE-2350 (AMD X2 OCed @ 2.75 ghz), but I can run most games at or near maxed out @ 1680x1050; Crysis even plays decently ( at 1440x900, and split between Med/High -- Most importantly looks and plays great compared to my previous card!)

LOUD!

GIGABYTE GeForce 9600 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card GV-NX96T512H
GIGABYTE GeForce 9600 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card GV-NX96T512H

Pros: Cheap after rebate

Cons: Great Zalman fan -- Except it's not variable! No option to change the fan speed in drivers, or any 3rd party tools -- because the fan physically doesn't support it -- it only has 2 wires, and would need a 3rd to control the speed. The worst 9600 GT you could buy, IMO -- Only purchase it if you're system is already absurdly loud.

Overall Review: Boxed up for return after an hour ...
