Perfect 2nd Time Around
Pros: Price, size. I just installed my replacement as the first once snapped off one of the screw holes. Do NOT over tighten the thumb screws and you'll be fine. Newegg was NO help on my first unit because I had already tore up the external box, however, upon contacting the manufacturer, a replacement was quickly sent out. Much appreciated.
Cons: None as long as the plastic screw hole bracket doesn't break. Oh, and the installation booklet could be better explained.
Overall Review: I liked this better than just a simple quiet CPU fan system. Manufacturer stands behind product so if you do over tighten the thumb screws and the plastic frame breaks, they will replace it.
Not bad
Pros: Price is right. Good collection of media buttons on remote. Works out of the box on Win7. I used it with Media Portal. No problems.
Cons: Layout is poor. The round direction buttons (up, right, down, left) around the OK button makes pressing the OK button difficult unless you have very tiny fingers. You are going to need to press OK many times and for that reason I would never buy this model again.
Overall Review: If you have regular sized hands buy a different model with a better button layout.
From Good to BAD
Pros: None.
Cons: Tightened the four posts and snap! One corner breaks off and now it won't rest on the CPU tight enough to cool it. No text on instructions - just silly pictures. No suggestion on how much to tighten. Computer now un-useable unless I tear it all apart AGAIN and put back the stock CPU cooler. Not fun at all.
Overall Review: Pretty bad when the cheap plastic breaks.
Excellent Device
Pros: Good size, excellent quality, lots of features! No problems with the caller on the other end not able to hear me. You can hear the caller quite well with built-in speaker or even better -- tune your radio to a supported frequency and hear your caller. Love playing music off my phone through the radio transmitter too. It pauses the tunes when a call comes in. Very nicely built unit. Highly recommend.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Bought a second one for the wife to use. Get it when it's on sale and you have a real bargain!
My second unit
Pros: Quiet, small, mounts to back of TV, play HD, plenty of inputs/outputs
Cons: None really.
Overall Review: I bought one of these about a year ago for our home HTPC setup. Just bought another and couldn't be happier. This unit actually had a working install CD and after installing Windows 7 32-bit I installed the drivers and everything works great. When ever I have another $331 to throw around I will likely purchase a third.
Excellent
Pros: Quiet, cools well
Cons: None that I can see.
Overall Review: This was the third CPU cooler I tried on my AMD 6 core CPU. Finally something that is quiet and cools well. Installation was pretty easy on the AMD3 socket. I will likely buy this brand in the future.
