Nice little system!

GIGABYTE BRIX GB-BXBT-2807 (rev. 1.0) Black Mini-PC Barebone
GIGABYTE BRIX GB-BXBT-2807 (rev. 1.0) Black Mini-PC Barebone

Pros: Inexpensive to operate, plays video fairly well, runs pretty fast with SSHD.

Cons: No real upgrades (accept memory and hard drive) Processor is somewhat "weak" by today's standards, but I was not expecting the moon and the stars here. The wireless card that comes with it is garbage. Not enough USB ports.

Overall Review: I was very skeptical about this purchase, I read every review, every comment, and everything I could find on this system. I have been a computer tech and IT Consultant for over twenty years, and I will say this is a good deal. If you do not have a lot of money, and need a basic computer and something that does not take up a lot of room, this is a good deal. If I had more money to spend, I would have gone for one of the "better models" May buy another Brix in the near future.

This is Junk!

Rosewill RTCG-TN360 Economy Compatible Toner Cartridge (Replaces Brother TN-330, TN-360) 2,600 Pages Yield; Black
Rosewill RTCG-TN360 Economy Compatible Toner Cartridge (Replaces Brother TN-330, TN-360) 2,600 Pages Yield; Black

Pros: it is $14.99-19,99

Cons: It does not work at all

Overall Review: I bought this last week because I thought Rosewill made decent stuff and they have never failed me before. Well, this is really no good. The Brother HL-2140 I have the Toner will not even lock into place, and the printer will not even acknowledge that it has a new toner. Yes I have done the "reset trick" installed drivers, tried self test, all to no avail. I might as well have taken $15.00 and thrown it out in the street. The printer has been cleaned and tested and was working with a brother cartridge. Like the A+ certification book says stay way from 3rd party toners and "ink refill kits, and the such. Yea, they cost more $ but in the end you will save $ because you will not have any of the problems described in 3 chapters of the book Thanks!

Nice case for drives

Rosewill RX35-AT-SU SLV Aluminum 3.5" Silver SATA USB 2.0 External Enclosure
Rosewill RX35-AT-SU SLV Aluminum 3.5" Silver SATA USB 2.0 External Enclosure

Pros: Actually having a on/off switch on the back of the case is a nice thing! Price is low.

Cons: None I can think of.

Wonderful product!

Rosewill RNX-N180UBEv3 - Wireless High Gain N300 Wi-Fi Adapter - IEEE 802.11b/g/n, (2T2R), Up to 300 Mbps Data Rates, USB 2.0 Cradle, 5 dBi High Power Antenna
Rosewill RNX-N180UBEv3 - Wireless High Gain N300 Wi-Fi Adapter - IEEE 802.11b/g/n, (2T2R), Up to 300 Mbps Data Rates, USB 2.0 Cradle, 5 dBi High Power Antenna

Pros: Easy to setup and install. No drivers where required on Windows 7 64-bit which makes it perfect for traveling techs that service customers always complaining about "their WIFI" This is perfect for when you need a connection fast! This get a very strong signal, although I have not seen a 300Mbps connection with any adapter I have tried yet. The most I am getting is about 145Mbps. for $10.99 I am very pleased.

Cons: None at this time.

Overall Review: I will update this review in time. If you are getting weak wi-fi-signals with your integrated wireless, this may be the quickest and cheapest fix.

Well, it works but...

Rosewill RNX-N250UBE - Wireless N300 Wi-Fi Adapter - IEEE 802.11b/11g/11n, (2T2R), Up to 300 Mbps Data Rates, USB 2.0 Interface, Two 5 dBi High Power Detachable Antenna
Rosewill RNX-N250UBE - Wireless N300 Wi-Fi Adapter - IEEE 802.11b/11g/11n, (2T2R), Up to 300 Mbps Data Rates, USB 2.0 Interface, Two 5 dBi High Power Detachable Antenna

Pros: Gets a really strong signal. Easy to setup and install. However it does not get any better signal than my other Rosewill adapter the RNX-N180UBE. Cheap when on sale.

Cons: The included dock is defective. I had to download the drivers from Rosewill's website, and install and reboot before it would work on Windows 7 64-bit. I am not real happy about the dock being defective. I am going to call Rosewill to see about a replacement.

Overall Review: I actually like the other adapter better than this one. The main reason being the RNX-N180UBE does not need any drivers installed with Windows in order to work. I would suggest buying the RNX-N180UBE instead of this model.

This is pretty good for $50

Magellan RoadMate 2120T-LM 4.3" Screen GPS Navigation w/ Lifetime Traffic
Magellan RoadMate 2120T-LM 4.3" Screen GPS Navigation w/ Lifetime Traffic

Pros: Well, I to be honest have never owned a stand-alone GPS until I bought this one. I have been a computer technician and technohead for the better part of my adult life. Overall I am pleased with this unit. The unit is not perfect, and sometimes it has some problems locating specific streets and such. Overall after I went through the map update process with Magellans software, and creating a account on their website it seems to do real well. These are FACTORY refurbs for those of you who are considering this purchase. The unit works great, and I have not had any problems other than my desktop system did not seem to like the Magellan software, and I could not update the maps. After connecting the unit to my Windows 8.1 laptop I did not have any more problems running the updates, and everything has worked fine thus far. I will update this review as time goes on, but thus far I am happy with this purchase. If you need a GPS, and do not have a lot of money to spend on one, I would suggest trying this unit.

Cons: None thus far

Overall Review: This unit was first put on the market in 2011. The unit comes with FREE lifetime map updates. As long as the maps are up-to-date then what else is needed? For the small price I paid, I cannot complain at all.
