New Information
Pros: None
Cons: The Specs on this said that it supports LGA 1150 Pentium processors. It did not support a G3259 processor. Tech support at Gigabyte says that it only supported the processor after a certain bios version. Since I can't boot the mortherboard, I can't update the bios either. Now I have to decide whether to buy a new motherboard or a new processor. Difficult because I can't count on the motherboard to support what it says it will.
Beware
Pros: Nothing
Cons: First one I got wouldn't charge. Returned it for a replacement. I've had the replacement charging for 3 days (just like the first one). Still won't charge. Price was really good - beginning to suspect the reason is that they're all either VERY old or defective. Going to try to get a refund now.
Overall Review: Would not recommend. Apparently can't give zero eggs.
Okay for a week
Pros: Easy to install.
Cons: After about two weeks, got a constant error saying that a USB port was drawing too much power. Unplugged this thing (which is powered by a power supply connection) and the error went away.
Overall Review: I didn't really need the 3.0 USB. Just wanted extra USB connections on the front of my machine. Now I need to get around to removing this thing and plugging up the hole it will leave in front. At least it was cheap.
Junk
Pros: None
Cons: Pretty nearly useless. With two USB plugs, it should have run fine but hung up and was anything but smooth when it was working. Went back to using the antique version that I had and it works fine.
DOA + 2-week wait to get replacement
Pros: None
Cons: DOA - Have to wait for it to ship across the country, be processed, then get another one sent back across country to me. Computer will be down about three weeks, when you count the initial shipping.
My order sat in one place for nine days and wasn't sent until I called in about non-delivery.
Since items are shipped from overseas with no advance notice - No, I would no recommend buying from them
