Most Critical Review

Be wary of the design and architecture!

Pros: It was fairly inexpensive, especially with the MasterPass discount. The front bezel design is especially attractive; the brushed metal design really looks professional.

Cons: This product does not match the described specifications as of 12/22/2013. PCI Slots (Available/Total) 1 PCI-E x 16 3 PCI-E x 1 It indicates there are "three" PCI-E x 1 slots, whereas there is actually "one" slot. As well, the internal bay expansion describes two slots (with one already used); however, the motherboard cannot match this availability as the only two SATA ports are being used by the existing Optical Drive and Hard Drive. Be warned of the device architecture, though: The power supply is designed as an AC/DC adapter (just like a laptop), so there is no actual, full-sized, power supply installed inside the chassis. As well, the motherboard is a hybrid of an mini-ATX and ITX design, and, as such, the CPU fan, corresponding architecture, and availability to modify is severely limited. For example, if you needed to install an aftermarket graphics card with power, you will need to buy a power supply. A secondary HDD is impossible without losing the optical disc drive, and you will still need to have that new power supply for power. Memory expansion is limited to two slots. Etc.....

Overall Review: So, I had to return it two days later (only because I had not had the chance to open the box), and NewEgg did it with ease. I did, however, have to engage NewEgg via chat to receive a free shipping label, as it did not appear to be available to me. Sally, via chat, did so immediately, which was awesome. I give this two eggs for NewEgg's positive response, and my lack of research (which is totally my fault).
