Great Budget Gaming Case
Pros: Cheap Great over all build quality all convectors and wire don't seam cheap supports ATX, Flex ATX, Mini ATX, Micro ATX, And Mini ITX plenty of spots for larger fans (120/140mm)
Cons: This is not really a con but the expansion slot covers seam weak, but nothing to remove a egg over saying there had to be something cheap on this case for the price.
Overall Review: This case fits the overall theme of my system perfectly and fits great in my desk. CPU: AMD FX-8120 w/ Antec H20 620 in push/pull Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 RAM: 2x 4Gb G.Skill Sniper 1600 GPU: GIGABYTE GV-R685OC PSU: 850W XFX Core Edition HDD: 2x Segate 7200 Rpm 2TB Drives SSD: 1x OCZ Petrol 120GB Windows 7 Pro
Pros: Cheap compared to Intel...8 threads 3+ Ghz....better them my old computers 2.8Ghz single-core Celeron pga 478 cpu...
Cons: Had to find any program that reads it temps.... throttles all the time even when computer is doing nothing....runs hotter the i would like even with TX-2 and a H2O 620 cooler....should have went with intel or older amd for first build
Overall Review: My next build is going to have a lot more research done (more then the week and a half i did this time) on it and will more in likely be a Intel
bad board
Pros: All black PCB...
Cons: BIOS sucks on this board....temp sensors are ether very cheap or bios/firmware need major work cant get usable/consistent temps from any program or the bios....north bridge and vrm heat sinks use a poorly designed mounting solution...back I/O plate does not set right at all...some settings seem missing or not right (no cpu core voltage only offset which does not seam to work right....to new of a board to be with out a UEFI....has realtek chips (LAN and Audio)....TPM port is useless because no one (even gigabyte) seams to sell TPM modules....the 990FX chips set runs hot...no leavel of fan control (PWM or not) wish SATA ports were more configurable....so buying ASUS or MSI form now on....
Deactivated Coolness
Pros: 802.11 a/b/g/n Dual Band 300Mbps Wifi Blue tooth Bluetooth V4.0 LE, V3.0+HS, V2.1+EDR All the security options Internal usb port-perfect for Bitlocker TPM key
Cons: Not on Newegg, had to order from site i did not trust
Overall Review: Works great for networking my room and fit with the look of my GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 mobo. I had to remove a egg just because of it being deactivated right before i got my pay check.
Pros: Easy to hook up, great white blade black frame design, works great with my NZXT Source 210 case
Cons: Short cable. Wish i could fine a 140mm fan similar to this one that the air flow was the revered so that the back of the fan was only seen from inside the case when used as a exhaust.
