OKGEAR SATA II cable

OKGEAR 36" SATA 6 Gbps Cable, Straight to Right Angle, UV Blue, Backward Compatible with 3 Gbps and 1.5 Gbps
OKGEAR 36" SATA 6 Gbps Cable, Straight to Right Angle, UV Blue, Backward Compatible with 3 Gbps and 1.5 Gbps

Pros: These are awfully good cables if you need a 90 degree connector. This works well in cases like the Dell 9200, where the hard drive is turned sideways and the connectors could be easily damaged just by your putting the side of the case back on. It also seems better made than a lot of cables.

Cons: None at all,

Overall Review: These cables are good ones.

Link Depot 39" Sata Cable

Link Depot SATA-39-RS 3.25 ft. SATA II Cable with Straight to Right-Angle Connectors
Link Depot SATA-39-RS 3.25 ft. SATA II Cable with Straight to Right-Angle Connectors

Pros: It is an OK SATA cable.

Cons: The reason I bought a right-angle cable was to not have the cable connector stick out very far. This cable has a right-angle connector that sticks out WAY too far. I hope I can save someone else from this disappointment! If you've got a Dell computer that mounts hard drives sideways, DO NOT get this cable!

Overall Review: It was fairly cheap.

Smith & Wesson Special Ops Watch

Smith & Wesson Special Ops Series Japanese Miyota Movement Black IP Rotating Bezel Military Time Dial Tactical Mens Watch
Smith & Wesson Special Ops Series Japanese Miyota Movement Black IP Rotating Bezel Military Time Dial Tactical Mens Watch

Pros: The watch is beautiful and keeps accurate time.

Cons: The band is attached onto the watch by a very easily pulled-out spring bar. If this really were a tactical watch, it would fall off it's user's arm the first time it was used hard. It is a delicate attachment and hard as the devil to reattach! I know because I tapped it, which dettached the spring bar. It took me at least 30 minutes to put it back into place.

Overall Review: It was inexpensive to buy. I love the look of it and its accuracy. But I do not like the delicate way the band attaches.

WD Caviar Black 750 GB

Western Digital Black WD7501AALS 750GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital Black WD7501AALS 750GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: These are great hard drives. I got a couple of them, one for my Dell Precision, and one for my home server. I'm not storing movies, so their capacity should be entirely adequate for my needs. They are very quiet, and they installed like a charm.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I feel great about buying them on a day when they were $65 apiece, with free shipping.

Masscool PCI 2 Internal Sata

MASSCOOL PCI Card, 2 internal SATA Model XWT-RC041
MASSCOOL PCI Card, 2 internal SATA Model XWT-RC041

Pros: This works if you can finally get the driver recognized.

Cons: The card is cheaply made. The metal bends easily. The plastic SATA connections are of very cheap, fragile plastic. Be careful. One wrong move and you have broken it.

PCI Combo Card 1509

PPA USB2.0 + 1394 Combo PCI Card Model 1509
PPA USB2.0 + 1394 Combo PCI Card Model 1509

Pros: It is cheaply priced

Cons: The makers barely left room to get a USB or 1394 connector into the hole. If you hold your mouth just right, you can finally squeeze a connector in. The drivers supplied (on one of those teeny-weeny CDs) do not seem to be recognized by the computer as having anything to do with the card.

Overall Review: Don't buy it!
