Decent mid range laptop

ASUS S56CA Ultrabook - Intel Core i5 6GB RAM 750GB HDD+24GB SSD 15.6" Windows 8 (S56CA-DH51)
ASUS S56CA Ultrabook - Intel Core i5 6GB RAM 750GB HDD+24GB SSD 15.6" Windows 8 (S56CA-DH51)

Pros: Great hardware for the price, and the SSD cache is a noticeable speed boost (though not as quick as a true SSD drive). The aluminium case feels sturdy which should be expected from Asus. And there's a DVD drive! Why are these dying out?

Cons: Windows 8 is best experienced with a touch screen, which this doessn't have. The touch pad gestures help, but I quickly installed 3rd party software to replace the Metro UI with a classic start menu. If you plan on keeping Windows 8, maybe you should look into touch

Overall Review: This machine is best for those with tons of media. Big HDD, a DVD tray, decent battery life (4.5 hours of YouTube), and surprisingly good sound out of such a slim laptop.

Pros: Noticeable speed boost.

Cons: None so far

Overall Review: Newegg always has the best prices and fastest shipping of any retailer. Online or otherwise. I wouldn't by computer parts anywhere else. It's a no brainer as to whether or not to buy quality name brand ram at such a good price.
