Works Great
Pros: Easy to set up. 6 tuners. The diagnostics tool is very helpful and informative. Ceton support is fast and responsive. Works great with Verizon FiOS. Also works well with Xbox 360 E as an extender.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I had the tuner installed and ready to go, I requested the mCard from Verizon (@$5/mo) and after installing the mCard, Verizon was not authorizing me for all of the channels I was paying for. First call to Verizon and they said it was the mCard. New card arrived and same problem. I contacted Verizon again and they decided to send a tech out. Tech arrives and determines that the Ceton tuner is bad and gave up. I contacted Ceton and sent them my log file. Ceton support determiend it was a problem on Verizon's end. Verizon had no interest in helping me at this point. Ceton support offered to contact Verizon. The next business day all of my channels were working. WIthout Ceton support getting involved, I do not think I would have gotten this to fully work.
Do Not Last Long
Pros: RMA processing is easy enough.
Cons: I've purchased ten of these from Newegg and installed nine of them. One was DOA. Three others failed under warranty and three have failed shortly out of warranty.
Overall Review: I was using these for customers of mine who required this type of PSU. I am always looking for a good deal, but still hope to maintain reliability. Having experience with nine of these now and seven have failed within 18 months is not a good rate. I've moved on to try another brand.
Two Years And No Problems
Pros: I don't watch for the fan to turn on, but anytime I have been at the right angle to see the fan, it has never been on. So obviously it is quiet. The modular design is good for keep the cable mess to a minimum. I've found the self-tester to be a handle tool that I have used on other PSU.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: So far, this has been running my desktop/gaming PC for 2 years without any problems.
Quick Install
Pros: It cannot get any easier. Connect the back plate into the drive and slide the drive inside the case. Seal with two black screws. I installed an SSD and the drive does not rattle around or feel loose in any way as some others have mentioned.
Cons: Not a con so much as a preference against...the power LED is super bright, as is usually the case with enclosures.
Overall Review: Ran a quick speed test with CrystalDiskMark using an old OCZ Vertex 3 240GB SSD. Sequential read was 192 MB/s and sequential write was 167 MB/s.
Does The Expected
Pros: Powers On, Supports Skylake
Cons: Requires the use of EZ Installer if you want to install Windows 7 using this mobo. You will need to create a new Windows 7 installation USB/DVD to get Windows 7 installed on this mobo. The USB controller seems to not work with various devices and causes many conflicts. Verified the conflicts on Windows 7 and Windows 10; therefore, it is this mobo. One example is the basic USB magnetic stripe reader (MSR) devices will not work on this mobo (tested several models). Always creates a conflict in the Device Manager. Plug the same device into a different mobo and there are no problems.
Overall Review: Horrible mobo for point-of-sale devices. Not recommended. Generally speaking, my problems with the mobo will not likely be a problem for the basic home user. This is not a good mobo for use with peripherals. Requires a custom installer for installing Windows 7.
It's RAM; It Works
Pros: Not much to it. It worked.
Cons: None.
