This review is from: Rosewill RNX-EasyN4 IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wireless-N 2.0 Broadband Router (2T2R) Up to 300Mbps Data Rates/ WPA Personal and Enterprise, WPA2, 64 & 128 bit WEP, PSK, TKIP, AES, WPS Security with 2 dBi Antenna x2
Pros: Small, 4 port, dual antenna, easy setup (general), powerful
Cons: little more complicated if you want to set up beyond basic usage with no password.
Other Thoughts: I bought this for my grandmother who has comcast. They told her (like me) that we had to update her wireless modem router and that they won't support it anymore. (I won't get into the politics of this). So I found a Zoom Doc 3.0 on that e-auction site for 35 bucks (used...it was a steal!)...she is now getting 25mbps download speeds hardwired (direct to the modem or router). When wireless, her speed drops to 20mbps when right next to the router. I have a D-link with similar hardwired speeds but wireless drops to 17mbps right next to the router. So pretty decent speeds for a nicely priced not a big name brand.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Plantronics S11 Telephone Headset System (65148-11)
Pros: Cheap. In this economy all of us are trying to save money especially us small businesses!
comes with base/amp
I would give this 3.5 eggs
Cons: Cheap...no I am not talking about cost again.
I have had many o'headsets -mostly plantronics and this is probably their bottom of the barrel headset. the mic boom sits away from your mouth and it feels like people can't hear you. it can't be adjusted to be closer to your mouth. it does have adjustments on the base unit.
I popped the ear piece off which just snaps off and two tiny wires that could have easily been snapped off are hanging out now. (it is made to be snapped on i am assuming).
Other Thoughts: it is the cheaper plantronics and it does what it is suppose to do.
if you have the cash buy the more expensive ones (not the s12 though)
I had the wireless one at my old company and they are great.
This review is from: AMC CC6-B10B 10 ft. Cat 6 Blue Network Cable
Pros: Cheap, cheap and um...cheap.
No local store could come close to price even with shipping.
Cons: the connectors didn't have a nice click or lock in on some of the connections. The vinyl/plastic coating on the cable (outside sheathing) seemed very thin and look like it could be rubbed off or sliced easily.
Other Thoughts: I bought the Rosewill brand 1fts (see my other review) and they were cheap cheap too. but I think they were a bit better quality of cables all over. I had never bought either brand of cable before so I figured I'd try both.READ FULL REVIEW
