Junk
Pros: Very cheap - - - for a reason!
Cons: The speeds are like the earliest-stage SSDs about 3-4 years ago. Write speeds are a fraction of what the manufacturer claims
Overall Review: Another lesson learned why some things are cheap - usually for a reason
Goodbye US$300
Pros: Fairly good sound, quite comfortable
Cons: Microphone cannot be disabled. Astro says "you will get used to it". You get feedback noise from your own breathing, talking, the AC, anything around you, driving you crazy. Was really excited, but now really disappointed. Expensive piece of garbage - that is where I just put it.
SSD_Tester
Pros: Has not caught fire yet, or done anything else really unexpected
Cons: Follow-up: worst purchase on Newegg ever. This weekend, I am replacing this "SSD" with another drive. Extremely slow, and loss of data. Appreciate Kingston writing on my above review, but they ceratinly are not offering to give me my money back, and not even to think the loss in terms of data. Never again a Kingston product for me after this experience.
Expensive toy
Pros: Zero noise..but then again whats the point if your fan is making most of your noise??? Extremely high access times. Coolness factor as early adaptor.
Cons: Overall low performance. Can really only perform one task at once, otherwise the controller will hang and studder. Very low write times. And yes, I did the partition allignment. I used it for 3 weeks now, and am now going back to a trusty 7200 hard disk. I am sure it is the future and give a year, and it may work wonders, but now it is just a cool expensive, underperforming toy
