Works great, carrying case design is poor
Pros: Powerful and capable in an easy to store package (although could be a bit bigger and still be easy to store, see CONS). Fully charged I used this to jump 4 vehicles (two 4cyl, a V8, and a 5cyl) and still showed 91% charge left in the unit.
Cons: The carrying case design is very crowded and hard to use. It's a zippered clamshell design, one side holds the pack and the other side is where you store the cables. The problem is the cable side uses a zippered cloth mesh but the case is barely big enough to hold the charge brick, the jump cables, the cig lighter attachment, and phone cord. Getting everything to fit together is hard enough, having to maneuver it all through a zipper slit in a net is frustrating. The zipper should go around the edge (like inside a suitcase) and the case needs to be a mere 1/4" longer. The design for attaching the jump cables is another weak design, the flap covering the port folds over the main ON/OFF button, this makes it possible to turn it OFF when trying to perform a jump. It also causes the connector for the cables to need to be forced to crush the flap which is left i the way. The ON/OFF button on the side can be easily slid ON when putting back in the case which drains the unit. If you aren't careful you could be stranded.
Overall Review: Life saving unit, great for the price but could use a few tweaks to be perfect.
Died after 1 week....
Pros: It was very inexpensive. After rebate it was only 10 units of American Currency (review wouldn't let me use the dollar sign)
Cons: It died after a week of semi-constant use. Was building a system for my mother-in-law with a E6550, a 8600GT, 2GB OZC RAM, 1 DVD burner and 1 SATA Hard drive, not a hard job for a PSU of this rating. After a week, it would not power the system for more than 5 seconds. Pulled a PSU from one of my systems and system powered fine.
Overall Review: Newegg only has a 30-day return policy now, and since I pre-ordered parts for the deals, that's expired. The manufacturer probably wouldn't allow an RMA since the UPC is gone. Love the Cooler Master cases, think I'll stick to PC&P, OZC, and FSP power supplies.....
Works well in my GoPro Hero 7
Pros: Good capacity and price
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: Good price and so far no issues.
Works with Xbox One X, sort of
Pros: It works with Xbox One X, mostly (see cons), good price and sturdy feeling.
Cons: Built in cord is extremely short, roughly 3 inches which means in most applications unless you want to leave it hanging from the port (bad idea) you will also need an extension cable or a hub. In addition to the additional cost for this, if you plan to use it with the Xbox One X the addition of an extension cable renders it unrecognized by the console. It works perfectly fine plugged in directly to the console with the comically small built in cord.
Overall Review: I have no idea why the addition of an extension cord confuses the XB One X, I thought it might be length as the one I had laying around was a 10ft cord, so I ordered a standard 3ft cord and still does not get recognized by the console unless plugged in directly. Both cords were tested on my laptops and PCs and there were no issues with the cables. The attached cord was a nice thought, but the execution makes it nearly pointless unless you are working on a laptop on a desk where it can plug right in and sit flat. I had to 3d print a stand to use it with the XB One X so it doesn't stress the port resting on the cable.
Great deal on a powerful server
Pros: Great deal and customization in ordering so you can pick your installed RAM and HDD.
Cons: Was shipped with standard duty power cords (same as you would use with a desktop PC), I have had problems with these in the past and prefer to use heavy duty 10 gauge power. Not a big issue, just a note.
Overall Review: Item was damaged when arrived, packaging was very secure and box was fine so damage was clearly done at seller and not caught. Damage was to rear corner of the case and affects only the removal of the lower PSU and can likely be fixed. Server appears to be fine and running at low load for 5 days now with no issues.
Very secure and sturdy
Pros: Template for mounting holes was a nice touch, instructions were clear and easy to follow. Using it for a 70" Sharp and works great. We don't really use the articulation right now but does move smoothly and solidly when I have pulled it out.
Cons: No built in leveler but not a big deal.
Overall Review: A+
Repeat customer, small issue easily corrected
Have ordered from Serveronics many times over the last few years mostly hard drives for a large (8 drive) zRAID build purchasing drives over time to avoid getting a full set from one batch and a refurb HP 1U rack server. They have always shipped fast and secure, server was packed in form fitting foam like a new unit. Hard drives are wrapped in heavy bubble wrap and secured in box with packing foam. Out of 8 drives I have received one that was DOA and instantly replaced and in my last order got one that was a mis packed return with a broken screw in one of the mounts, also quickly replaced. Very easy to deal with and would not hesitate to buy from again.
Another easy transaction
This is the 6th drive I have purchased (I am doing a staggered upgrade on a RAIDz, spreading cost over time and avoiding risking a batch manufacturing issue) and every transaction has been easy, with fast shipping. One of the 6 drives failed to be recognized on install and was quickly and easily replaced. I need 2 more drives to complete the upgrade and will continue to buy from Serveronics.
Shipped on time, well packed
Have purchased from this seller multiple times and have never had any issues. Product is always shipped when expected and arrives well packed (hard drives wrapped in large bubble wrap and double packed with peanuts). Had one drive arrive DOA once and they quickly got replacement handled.
