Avoid!

Pros: This drive is a rarity - few people make and ExpressCard SSD.
Cons: I've had two major problems with this drive, but note that they may be specific to my setup: Sony Vaio VPCZ1 Laptop running Windows 7-64. First, the drive is not recognized on boot. You have to physically eject and re-install it every time you restart the machine. This is a firmware issue with Sony's Express Card slot and they have no plans to fix it. Second, Windows 7 enables write caching on this drive, but doesn't flush the cache properly before shutting down the OS. This means that any data in the cache is lost. I consistently loose data because of this. The problem is that even if you change this setting to disable the write cache, Windows 7 will go in and re-enable it on its own!
Overall Review: If only one manufacturer makes a specific type of product (SSD in Express Card format), maybe there is a reason...
