A Bargain
Pros: Great value for it's price. No dead pixels. No complaints of the image quality.
Cons: - Speakers could be better but I'm probaly not going to really be using them. - Stand is quite flimsy - Could use a DVI port - Generates some heat.(my other monitor stay relatively cool) Monitor is ugly and the features could be better, but the display alone is worth the value.
Overall Review: The screen cut off can be fixed in the monitor settings by switching it to PC mode.
Doesn't work like it's suppose to.
Pros: I have a xbox360, pc, laptop and ps3 and 2 monitors The matrix looks good.
Cons: If used with a ps3. The hdmi audio has to be disabled for the picture to display in 1080p. If the hdmi audio is enabled the signal constantly die out. With the hdmi audio disabled there appears to be a mesh of broken pixels on the monitor and the 1080p picture will black out less often. Also when using the 1080p resolution the hdmi signal flickers off and on sometimes and you can notice broken pixels. Only got it to work sometimes by disableing the hdmi audio from the pc. Do not use the left and right audio ports on the matrix too, It will mess up the picture. With all the audio settings disabled the signal will work better. The matrix will not work with 1080p and hdmi audio enabled at the same time, even then the picture quality is bad, and the signal is unreliable. Right now I just physically connectand switch my devices directly to the monitor for the best quality and reliability. Defeats the purpose of buying this device.
Overall Review: Do not get a hdmi matrix that comes with audio ports.
