Pros: Used Snagit (several versions) since 2003, it is a very stable product. Excellent tool. Very easy to use Captures many mediums to many mediums(All screen, 1 window, scrolling window, partial regions, printer, fax ...etc..) very precisely(live magnifier) to files(jpeg, tiff, gif + many more), to clipboard, email. printer + others. Picture can be edited or annotated with built in studio graphic software(Add fancy text, arrows, shapes, callout, ...). Capture and OCR text and tables. Captures web and video. It also capture printers output. You can print it, it can capture it. Good Value for its price

Cons: Video capture slow even with fast system. Limited functionality and output for multi-page capture. text/web OCR needs great deal of improvement. No PDF output. Not a significant of new and useful feature in the new version

Overall Review: Must have in everyone's tool chest. Price is great for all functionality you get.
