Never again
Pros: None
Cons: DOA unit & another bad unit received after RMA that took me about a month. STILL IT WOULDN'T EVEN POST.
Overall Review: It's just frustrated when I get a DOA motherboard for a new build. There are many other components to test even it seems working fine. When I found out the unit was DOA after I tested with different memory, power supply, various video output without using separate video card. Nothing worked. I thought it could happen because it's an electronic. It can happen some time. But when I found out that it does the same after I received it back from RMA department, it's just not acceptable. All those time of troubleshooting and getting resources for the process was just tiring. I even purchased extra motherboard to make sure that it's the motherboard that causes the trouble. With new motherboard (not ASUS) it works like a champ. I've been searching for compatibility issue when I first tested. Correct me if I'm wrong. My build is(or was going to be): this motherboard i5-4670K Ripjaws X Series 8GB F3-17000CL11D-8GBXL Thermaltake TR2 TR-600 600W Power Below are not even connected since it wouldn't even post DVD burner Hard drive Video card I really like to get this refunded but I don't think that's an option I have now. The refund period is well over while I try troubleshooting, getting the RMA processed.
DOA stick
Pros: Looks nice and it has good reviews.
Cons: One of the stick was DOA.
Overall Review: This was for my new build and it's crazy to troubleshoot. The original motherboard doesn't even post with this dead stick. I've got the motherboard RMAed that took me about a month (Thanks ASUS) and still no luck. I had a feeling that it's still the motherboard by then. So I tried different motherboard and this motherboard would POST a message that the stick is not working properly.
