Consistently Excellent
Pros: These are incredibly affordable and have been consistently solid in creating both BluRay video disks and Data disks. Also, love the fact that I can print straight to the disk.
Cons: Wish they came in a larger spindle
Losing Signal/Lag
Pros: It is wireless, comfortable keyboard, lots of buttons on mouse, software is good.
Cons: I have sent back this keyboard/mouse once because the mouse completely quit working with full batteries. The one I received has been extremely laggy aka typing and letters appear 5-10 seconds later. This makes gaming impossible. The mouse often drops signal. I have the receiver only 2 feet away from the keyboard and mouse and no obstructions in the way.
Overall Review: I don't recommend this combo for the price. You would be better off going for a wired combo than this lacking wireless. I am quite disappointed in Logitech because I have always found their products to be of high quality. Perhaps this is their bad stepchild.
A little large
Pros: Really great drive a quite the great value!
Cons: Had a little difficulty finding room in my case to fit this 3.5' monster, but went over to home depot and got a hack saw and proceeded to make some more room by cutting out the upper section of my case.
Good but not for Raid 5
Pros: Great price for a large amount of storage. Very Quiet. Perform well on their own. Purchased 8 and only 1 was DOA, which was promptly replaced.
Cons: Was under the impression that these would work well in a Raid 5 environment, however that was definitely not the case as confirmed by experience and Seagate support. Arranged in a raid 5 internally with 4 drives and would only see 20-30MB/s, which is incredibly slow. Rearranged to Raid 10 and then saw speeds of 250-300MB/s. Just a word of caution if you are considering purchasing these for a Raid environment.
Rockin
Pros: - Solid construction - Easy setup - Decent price - Audible and visual alerts - Tons of connectivity
Cons: Could be slightly cheaper and support other raid modes, however I was only interested in Raid 5.
Overall Review: I originally installed my drives and attached to my iMac. Freaked out when it repeatedly froze up my Finder. However, after some research it appeared my old drives had issues with their DS_Store. A quick terminal fix and it was up and running. Definitely would recommend fresh drives if you can swing it.
Seeexy
Pros: Incredible surround sound replication, dolby digital decoder is theater quality sound, very comfortable and easy to wear for hours, way cheaper and takes up less space than 5.1 speaker system.
Cons: Manual is a bit lacking, sound leaks out of the headphones allowing others to hear what you are listening to (embarrassing if listening to britney spears at work), and has quite a bit of cords to deal with, but less than a 5.1 speaker system.
Overall Review: Editing surround sound in a work environment makes these headphones a huge bonus for me. Allows me to hear sound accurately while not disturbing others around me. Also make incredible headphones for movie watching when others are trying to sleep. Listening to 5.1 music is absolutely incredible with these puppies. Music has never been so clear or accurate.
