Top-notch audio and comfortable
Pros: Outstanding 7.1 circumaural sound for a cheap price. I've owned high-end headsets from various other brands but this one is bar-none the best in terms of sound reproduction from the highs to the lows. In terms of comfort, I was a bit wary of buying it because of some of the other reviews which cite tightness, soreness from extended use, etc...I have an exceptionally large melon and after an extended gaming session last night (5 hrs...yea, I know...) my ears were fine so I think maybe people are being a bit..sensitive or dramatic? In summary: get it...great product at a very reasonable price. Hope it lasts.
Cons: When I received the headset in the packaging, it appeared that the documentation was folded over and the plastic creases appeared to have been previously opened and possibly re-packaged a la refurbishment?. The unit itself was scratch-free, and it works perfectly, so I hope it holds up because I LOVE the sound quality, etc. The state of the package and the consequent uncertainty, combined with the fact that it was supposed to be 3 days UPS and it ended up taking 7 were enough to dock 1 egg....still highly recommended though.
Overall Review: Newegg is the bee's knees! Keep up the great work guys.
Install Process for Win7 64bit
Pros: After a lot of trial and error, it works
Cons: Erroneous documentation - Driver errors. Lack of speed and 5ghz capability
Overall Review: If you have windows 7 64 bit you'll need to run the installer in compatibility mode (winxp sp3 worked for me)...otherwise you won't be able to enable the adapter. Speed is a bit slower than my former powerline connection but I'll give it a shot for the time-being. The usb hub that it came was is a glorified 2 foot extension cord...
