Great tv for the price
Pros: has 5 timers. so you can set 5 alarm events. (I use it as an alarm) controls major brands of dvd/blue ray players and other media devices via hdmi hookup. viera picture viewer and slideshow game mode for video games. 30 favorites channel storage. great computer monitor. hooks up via hdmi or vga for computer viewing. decent sound for small speakers. panasonic quality
Cons: for a $300 32" tv, none.
not compatible with compaq presario
Pros: N/A
Cons: Does not work with a Compaq presario 2570us. PNY quarantees compatibility for my laptop but it's not. memory registers as pc2700 but my laptop is rated for pc2100. so it crashes often.
Overall Review: PNY still hasn't contacted me for a warranty/guarantee. they insist it works but it doesn't. (I didn't buy it from newegg but I wanted to warn others before they have to go through a return)
Pros: prints good. scans good. duplex printing saves paper and is a fantastic feature that all printers should have. stylish design, looks good in the house or office. I don't know why others are saying it's a ink hog. I've printed over 700 pages in normal quality on the stock supplied ink. it seems to do really well on ink usage I think. I've had ink hog printers.(epson) replaceable print heads you can buy from any store. (staples etc) and rather large ink cartridges that are the same price as the standard itty bitty ones that go in every other printer on the market.
Cons: hard/almost impossible to install over a network. install does not detect printer. a manual configuration of it's settings is a must. that is a huge flaw! most people wouldn't know what to do or how to do it even with tech support talking them through it. (even if they understood the English language LOL) card reader is already outdated and incompatible with new large capacity flash memory cards. so unless you have a 3 year old memory card in a 3+ year old camera, don't bother trying to use the flash memory readers. it doesn't read them. rather poor picture print quality compared to even the cheapest of cheap ink jet printers. it's def not a good photo printer at all. especially for a $400 retail printer.
Overall Review: Hp's tech support is as others said. terrible. email or online (live) support is non existent. I guess so, the other side of the world is in bed when we are at work LOL. I'm not paying $3 a min to be put on hold for an hour while they skim through the English dictionary to look up elementary words to comprehend what I'm talking about.
