Solid Case but...
Pros: Solidly built, comes as advertised and shipped very fast!
Cons: Spacing: It was hard as heck to get the 2 hard drive racks out and even harder to screw them back in (ended up leaving half the screws out). Can't get the 5.25" Drive bay faces off without practically dismantling the whole case...ended up not even trying at that point. Fans are a bit loud compared to normal PCs but for a server the fans are actually fairly silent (I've worked with a LOT of servers...they can get loud).
Overall Review: All in all a good case but they definately should have included some kind of tool to get at the screws a little easier.
Very reliable!
Pros: Been running 24/6 for the past year and is still going strong!
Cons: That I waited to buy 8GB instead of buying it all at once
Could be Better...
Pros: I've owned 2 of these and they both work great (cases are cases, what more could u want?). Best selling point: the lack of use of screws and instead relying on securing-clamps. Makes the case a lot better in my eyes and keeps me from dropping screws everywhere when removing just 1 thing!
Cons: The front of the case. The material collects dust VERY quickly and easily and is not too easy to put back in if u take it out to clean it. Still it's just an annoyance...
Overall Review: It could use a fan on it's size and a little better placement so that the fan or vent focused DIRECTLY over the processor, rather than just a bit to the right...still, good case all-in-all!
Very Reliable!
Pros: Bought this back in August and it's still working Great. I even sprung and bought 2 because I like that feeling of being able to copy from one DVD to another.
Cons: None
Good Product!
Pros: Very quiet and has lasted more than a year now (first with Vista32 and now with Windows7 x64). Reformatted perfectly and has been very reliable for the past year (I keep my computer on for 6 days a week and do maintenance on Saturday morning).
Cons: Only con is that Mcrosoft won't let u upgrade from 32 to 64. But that's a MS problem, not a Western Digital. That and I wish I had brought 2!
Overall Review: It shows up as only 698 but That's a problem every hard drive I've ever had of this size has.
Very Nice!
Pros: Affordable and very fast. I upgraded from a Dual-core AMD system and I'm loving the added capability.
Cons: That I didn't use a 64-bit OS. Windows 7 will fix that, though.
