Corsair Force Series 3 2.5
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Worked great for 2 years then died.

Cons: Buy two, then back each other up. Expensive.

Other Thoughts: I thought SSD's were supposed to be reliable and long lasting? I've never had a hard drive fail until now and in only 2 years? It is still under warranty but do I want to trust a replacement with my data to something that failed so soon? It's going to cost a bunch to try and retrieve my data which is not covered in the warranty.

Definitive Technology StudioMonitor 350 Bookshelf/Stand Mount Speaker (Black) Pair
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Very nice speakers. Nice piano black finish. Add a good amount of bass.

Cons: Wrapped in a "sock". Have to take off the top and then slide sock down to see the speakers. No mounting connections for stands or wall. Very bright directly in front of tweeter, off to the side sounds better. Excellent computer speakers, but still need a receiver to run them.

Other Thoughts: I paid $250 for these less than a year ago. At $179 they are a steal.

Polk Audio PSW Series PSW10 Black 10-inch Powered Subwoofer Single
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Price. Musical ability. Electronic sound waves can be felt. Shooting a tank in a game is very impressive. I would recommend these to anyone.

Cons: Instructions are lacking. There is a phase switch on the back with 0 degrees and 180 degrees. I have no idea what this does because it is not in the owners manual. Flipping it seems to make the speakers boomy. Light on back really doesn't help.

Other Thoughts: I have two of these, one on each side of my desk. These are much more musical than my $700 SVS sub and my $85 Sony. They turn on almost instantly without any clicking noises (Sony). I am very impressed with these and for the price, can't be beat. I am sure you could find better at much higher prices but for computer subs, they are awesome. Running on an Onkyo with Definitive 350's. I am so impressed with these that I am looking at Polk floor speakers.
