Great Printer

HP Deskjet 6940 Up to 36 ppm Black Print Speed Up to 4800 optimized dpi color and 1200 input dpi Color Print Quality Ethernet (RJ-45) / USB InkJet Workgroup Color Printer
HP Deskjet 6940 Up to 36 ppm Black Print Speed Up to 4800 optimized dpi color and 1200 input dpi Color Print Quality Ethernet (RJ-45) / USB InkJet Workgroup Color Printer

Pros: I bought one of these over 2 years ago. It was a fairly new model, but I've always had success with Hp's, so I gambled. This printer is so good that I've replaced each older/ failing older printer with the 6940, we have about 15 so far. The original printer was for our Marketing Director, who finally wore it out thousands and thousands of pictures later. We now use 4 of these in the marketing dept to print flyers, drafts, etc before sending the final product to press.

Cons: Ink cartridges not cheap, but they ensure consistent printing from the first page to the last.

Overall Review: There are better printers out there, but none anywhere near this price. A best buy of unreal value.

Excellelent Processor

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ - Athlon 64 X2 Toledo Dual-Core 2.4 GHz Socket 939 Processor - ADA4800CDBOX
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ - Athlon 64 X2 Toledo Dual-Core 2.4 GHz Socket 939 Processor - ADA4800CDBOX

Pros: Went from an Athlon XP 2500 oc'd to 2.75Ghz on a DFI Lan Party NF2 board to an Athlon 64 4000+ on an Asus A8N SLI board. Big difference. One month later I was able to come up with enough for the X2 4800, which was almost as big of a difference. This CPU is one of the most powerful CPU's you can put on the 939 socket, and it overclocks nicely. The 4800 is basically 2 4000s on one die. I've gotten it up to 2.9Ghz with a Thermaltake Blue Orb, and it's still quiet! I have had no issues with either XP or Vista (except getting them to dual boot -not the cpu's fault). Great performance, and the price is much sweeter now. Highly recommended, especially if you already have a 939 board and can't swing a new board, memory AND CPU right now.

Cons: None. Works beautifully.

Overall Review: It's fairly comparable performance-wise to it's competition of similar price, so if you have a socket 939 board, go for it. I can't imagine a reason why you'd not like it.
