Good, but not great...

Thermaltake V3 Black AMD Edition VL800P1W2N Black / Red SECC / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Thermaltake V3 Black AMD Edition VL800P1W2N Black / Red SECC / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: -Small form factor -Great for budget building -Looks (if you are an AMD fan) -Plastic Hard Drive retention clips are flimsy, but secure.

Cons: -Built Cheap -Tight fit if using full ATX -Cable routing can be tough -Looks (if you are an Intel fan) -Not for a hardcore gaming rig -Cooling can be an issue if you dont know what your doing. Takes a bit of work, but worth it once done

Overall Review: For Under $60.00, this case is exactly what you would expect. Many say that it is cheap and flimsy...I would have to argue the flimsy part. Cheap, yes, flimsy, only the side panel when not installed. If you are looking to save a bit of space, then this case will work great, but be aware that, if you plan on utilizing larger form factor components, then you may as well forget this case. I was able to make this build work for what I have, but it took a lot of finesse, and a great deal of time and patience. Here is what I am currentl running: Mobo - Biostar TA990FX CPU - AMD FX-8150 W/Antec Kuhler H2O 620 GPU - 2 (Crossfire) x Asus HD 7770-DCT PSU - Azza 1000W 80 Plus Platinum Hard Drive - WD Caviar Black 2 TB SSD - Intel 520 Series 180GB Optical Drive - Pioneer BD-206 RAM - Corsair Dominator GT 8GB (2 x 4GB) W/Cooliing fans Fans - 2 x Scythe Slim 1600rpm fans Note: I still have room for one more Scythe Slim 120mm fan, and one "Standard" 120mm fan in the access panel. Also, measure your Graphics Card/s before installing. My cards are of a smaller form factor, so you may run into some space issues with a larger card/s. Just take your time, and this case can be really nice. This is a cheaper case, so dont start comparing apples to oranges, or you will be disappointed. If you are up for a challenge, buy this and build it. You will save money in the long run, and have a rig that you can be proud of. Just take your time.

CORSAIR DOMINATOR GT 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1866 Desktop Memory Model CMT8GX3M2A1866C9

Pros: Great quality. Easy to istall. Fan works well.

Cons: Fan is a bit louder than expected, but not so much that I would call it intrusive....you just know that it's there. Directions for installing the fan may not be clear for those with minimal computer building experience.

Overall Review: Wish that the manufacture packaging was better, as well as the inclusion of more clear directions for the assembley of the fan. This was not that much of an issue for me, but for those that have never installed RAM or other computer hardware, this could be an issue.

It's a Beast!!

AZZA PSAZ-1000PT14 1000 W ATX & EPS 12V 2.92 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply
AZZA PSAZ-1000PT14 1000 W ATX & EPS 12V 2.92 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: This is a very well made PS. Lets start with the packaging. The packaging that is comes in i brilliant. It has got like a hologram look to it, which makes me feel happy. Next is build quality. The moment you remove it from the packagem you know that this is a quality product. Once you set it up and run it, it is a real monster....this thing wont even break a sweat. I love it!!!!

Cons: None that I can think of. Solid, well built, powerful, and a great price....no cons here!

Overall Review: The modular connectors, as stated in another review, seem a bit cheap, but I have not had any issues with them, so I cannot deduct an egg for that.

Holds it's own

BIOSTAR TA990FXE AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
BIOSTAR TA990FXE AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: So, you are concerned that this motherboard may turn out to be a flop.....don't be. This motherboard holds it's own again some of the more expensive competitors. I bought this board for a new build. I wanted something that was budget friendly. This board has many features found on enthusiast level motherboards. It does lack a few features compared to some of the more mainstream brands, such as Asus, Gigabyte, and ASRock. But this board will not disappoint.

Cons: No PCI Express 3.0. This may not necessarily be much a con for some. Its not a pressing issue with me....certainly not enough for me to reduce any stars as a result.

Overall Review: This board looks amazing. If you are picky about how your PC looks, then worry not about this board. Biostar put a lot of thought into the production of this board.
