Great Unmanaged Switch
Pros: I have had two of these in a 36 node lab running non-stop for over six months and I have not had a single problem.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: D-link is the best option for unmanaged Gigabit switches!
Average Performance
Pros: This unit can be installed using the Windows driver.
Cons: Logitech software.
Perfectly servicable adapter
Pros: It was free with a refurbed NETGEAR WNR2000 wireless N router. It comes with a handy USB extension cord that can be used with any USB device. It does connect to wireless networks.
Cons: It ate my homework.
Perfect for DD-WRT
Pros: This router is great for DD-WRT or other open source firmwares. The USB port is used for the print server on the stock firmware, of course with DD-WRT it can be used for storage and Open-WRT can use it with soundcard to become an Internet radio. It is very difficult to brick this device. I interrupted firmware uploads multiple times and I was always able to recover using the ASUS utility. With DD-WRT it's great as an access point, but probably the best feature is the ability to use it as a wireless gaming adapter. For $30 (after MIR) to be able to connect ANY device to my wireless network is a bargain.
Cons: MIR is a pain. I followed the directions exactly and I did receive my rebate as a pre-loaded Discover card, but they are still a pain.
Overall Review: There are a ton of fun projects that this device can be used for!
Great RAM
Pros: Low price. This DIMM is actually cheaper than a gig of 533 MHz (PC2 4200) HAHAHAHAH that means I saved a buck fifty!!! Seriously though, the PC that I installed this RAM in actually has a 533 bus, but the RAM downclocks to 533 without any problems.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Dell Optiplex GX280 3.2 GHz P4 1 GB RAM 80 GB HDD
Excellent RAM
Pros: Low price. I ordered three of these packages for some of the programmers on my company's development team. Each workstation has 4 gigs installed and the workstation performs perfectly under a heavy workload. The DIMMs stay cool.
Cons: Windows won't map the full 4 GB of RAM.
Overall Review: I have not OC'd or testing on a gaming PC.
