What I Expected
Pros: - Easy to figure out / set up - Sturdy, yet lightweight - Comes with a mic holder, as well as a script clip - Can also be used as a boom
Cons: - The picture from the listing makes it look like it comes with 2 mic stands :p
Overall Review: - I originally bought this to use with my Blue Snowball USB mic, but the way I have to attach it to the stand doesn't really work the way I originally intended it to. It still works though!
DOA
Pros: None wouldn't boot up properly
Cons: DOA. Said it was tested and ensured to be working... But there's a cpu socket pin missing. Last time I buy open box.
So far so good!
Pros: I have to admit, due to the mixed reviews, I was a little wary of this product, but I really like Rosewill products. I got this to go in my Rosewill R536-Red case. Which had 4 built in USB ports. The way my Mobo (Asus H81M-K) is configured, in order to use this I would lose 2 of said ports... This isn't really a con for me, because I technically only lost 1. Plus I gained a 40 card reader!!! I got this so I don't have to plug my Digital camera into the computer, and can just pop the CF card in, no problem. I haven't had much use for the other card readers yet...but it's certainly nice to have! I like that it has 2 different face plates, a black and a silver, so I can choose the style I want. My case is black and red so I stuck with black. Most of the not so positive reviews I've seen said it failed within the first year...I've had mine since the beginning of the year, and have no issues!
Cons: Not really a con...more of an I wish...I wish there was an easy way to change the color of the LED indicator from blue to red or any other color...it'd match my case much better...not major at all though
Overall Review: At $30, the price is fairly small for the convenience it adds! Also I'm fairly new to Rosewill products, but my experience thus far as been very positive!
Lack of Communication
I did lots of research before deciding to make this purchase, I wanted a set of headphones that provided good sound, and were somewhat durable. A friend of mine suggested Sennheiser. So I did some research and came across the HD 429, which looked like they fit the bill. The product image on Newegg depicts that these headphones have a removable audio cable. Other reviews I found online had mixed information as well. After processing the order on August 29th, I did even more research, only to find that despite the image on Newegg...these headphones DID NOT have a removable audio cable. I emailed the sellers retention dept on August 30 and the support dept on August 31st. I stated that the images on the website did not reflect the actual product, I wanted a headset with a removable audio cable and if this was indeed not the case, I wanted to cancel my order...only to get no response. The product was great! The seller….lacking in communication.
