Nippon Labs USB3-6MM 6 ft. Blue USB 3.0 A Male to A Male 6ft Cable 6 feet
Nippon Labs USB3-6MM 6 ft. Blue USB 3.0 A Male to A Male 6ft Cable 6 feet

Pros: as USB2.0 cable they seem to work.

Cons: As USB3.0 cable they Fail. Something is not right with these cables. Bought 3 of them, 2 of them are so bad if i plug the cable into my USB3.0 port it shuts off all devices on the other ports. i tested mice, usb sticks, ect and my USB3.0 ports are fine. these cables are worthless. Test on - Asus Maximus Gene-Z motherboard onboard and front panel headers.

Does not Support any resolution greater than 480i

New Mini White HDMI to 3RCA Composite Video AV Converter for TV/PC/PS3/Blue-ray DVD
New Mini White HDMI to 3RCA Composite Video AV Converter for TV/PC/PS3/Blue-ray DVD

Pros: Newegg provided a credit to my account for this purchase, it was during the holidays and the return window had expired 'due to longer then expected customer service wait times'. Thanks Newegg for making it right.

Cons: Description (and included instructions) says up to 1080p support, in reality the HDMI input does support resolutions above 480i (native of composite cable). There is an identical looking adapter online with a Blue PCB (this fake one was green) that will properly support 1080p signal and downscale the composite to 480i. This was used with secondary HDMI out on my AV receiver to power a rPi powered Ambilight setup. Using this adapter forced the AV Receiver to downscale both outputs to 480i as it has to use the lowest supported resolution. The other adapter i purchased from 'your favorite online bidding site' shows internal PCB, its blue, and works as expected. Return shipping would have cost as much as the adapter.
