Bang for your buck

MSI GeForce GTX 970 GAMING 4G
MSI GeForce GTX 970 GAMING 4G

Pros: Before purchasing this card, I owned an ASUS R9 280X. Upgrading to a 970 felt like a breath of fresh air. This card is less noisy that my ASUS card and blows everything out of the water at 1080p. It also overclocks effortlessly. Months after acquiring my first card, I upgraded to 1440p and wasn't satisfied with the performance of one card. It still played games smoothly but I had to knock a few settings down (BF4, Witcher 3, etc). I liked my first card so much that I purchased a second one. Running these cards in SLI is fantastic and has given me butter-smooth experiences in all games at 1440p. The 3.5 GB VRAM issue didn't give me any problems gaming-wise at 1080p, and definitely hasn't given me any problems at 1440p. I have GTA V cranked up all the way and it uses 6 GB altogether. I'm very satisfied.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Overall Review: I have recommended this card to my all of my friends who game at 1080p and they have all been very satisfied. MSI rocks.

Low temps!

CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm
CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: I purchased the H100i for my 4770K and it is an excellent cooler. Installation was easy, and my temps are super low. Using the stock cooler at stock clock rates, 81 C. With the H100i and overclocked to 4.4 GHZ, 68 C. You can't go wrong.

Cons: When I first installed the cooler, my temps weren't as low as I had hoped. A few google searches suggested that adding non-metal washers between the back plate screw wells and motherboard would help with the spacing and yield better temps. I purchased some at my local hardware store and after installing them my temps dropped 10 C. I am now very satisfied.

Made my desktop quiet

Noctua NF-F12 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (120mm, Brown)
Noctua NF-F12 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (120mm, Brown)

Pros: I purchased these fans because, like many others, my Corsair H100i cooler was extremely loud under load. I replaced the stock fans with two of these and keep them on performance mode 24/7 and I think the only sound I can hear from my computer is the case fans.

Cons: The only thing that comes to mind is the price, but the fans (and packaging) feel so sturdy and high quality that I can't complain. Worth every penny.

Overall Review: I would highly recommend these to anyone irritated with the noise produced by any cooler that uses a radiator.
